ÖĞRETMEN ÖZ YETERLİK ALGISI ÖLÇEĞİ KISA FORMU’NUN TÜRKÇE’YE UYARLANMASI: GEÇERLİK VE GÜVENİRLİK ÇALIŞMASI

Abstract
Öğretmenlerin öz yeterlik algılarının ölçümü için çok sayıda ölçek geliştirilmiştir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Tschannen-Moran ve Woolfolk Hoy (2001) tarafından geliştirilen Öğretmen Öz Yeterlik Algısı Ölçeği-Kısa Formu’nun(TSES-SF) Türkçe uyarlaması yapılan örneğinin (ÖÖAÖ-KF) faktör yapısını inceleyerek geçerlik ve güvenirliğini test etmektir. Çalışmada 410’u ilkokul, 533’ü ortaokul öğretmeni olan 943 öğretmen yer almıştır. Türkçe’ye uyarlanan Öğretmen Öz Yeterlik Algısı Ölçeği-Kısa Formu’nun (ÖÖAÖ-KF) faktör yapısını incelemek için Doğrulayıcı Faktör Analizi (DFA) yapılmıştır. Ölçeğin hesaplanan Doğrulayıcı Faktör Analizi (DFA) sonuçlarına göre, ölçeğin kabul edilebilir ve iyi düzeyde uyum değerlerine sahip olduğu belirlenmiştir. Tüm ölçek maddeleri için Cronbach Alfa güvenirlik katsayısı 88 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Bulgular, Türkçe’ye uyarlanan Öğretmen Öz Yeterlik Algısı Ölçeği-Kısa Formu’nun (ÖÖAÖ-KF) geçerlik ve güvenirlik bakımından öğretmenlerin Öz Yeterlik Algılarının ölçülmesinde kullanılabilecek uygun bir araç olduğunu göstermektedir.

Numerous scales have been developed to measure teachers' self-efficacy perceptions. The aim of this study is to test the validity and reliability of the Turkish adapted sample of the Sense of Self-Efficacy Scale - Short Form (TSES-SF) developed by Tchannen-Moran and Woolfolk Hoy (2001), by examining the factor structure. The study consisted of 943 teachers, of which 410 were primary and 533 were secondary school teachers. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) was performed to examine the factor structure of the Teacher Sense of Self-Efficacy Scale - Short Form (TSES-SF) adapted to Turkish. According to the calculated results of the Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), it was determined that the scale had acceptable and good level of compliance values. Cronbach Alpha Reliability Coefficient was calculated as .88 for all scale items. The findings indicate that the Turkish adaptation of the Sense of Self-Efficacy Scale - Short Form (TTSES-SF) is an appropriate tool for measuring teachers' Self-Efficacy Perception in terms of validity and reliability.
