Abstract
Günümüzde yaşanan sosyal ve ekonomik yapıdaki hızlı değişimler kadınların toplum içindeki rollerinde birtakım değişikliklere yol açmıştır. Kadının sosyal, siyasal ve ekonomik yaşamda daha fazla yer almaya başlamasıyla beraber kadın suçluluğu üzerindeki ilgi hızla artmaya başlamıştır. Ülkemizde ve dünyada kadınların erkeklere göre daha az suç işledikleri bilinmektedir. Türkiye İstatistik Kurumu’nun (TUİK) 2017 verilerine göre, kadın suçlu sayısının tüm suçlu sayısına oranının %4,3 olduğu belirtilmektedir. Suç konusunda yapılmış olan çalışmalar suçun, eğitim durumu, yaş, medeni hal, yerleşim yeri, siyasal ve ekonomik dalgalanmalar, coğrafi koşullar ve meslek gibi pek çok faktöre bağlı olarak değişiklik gösterdiğini belirtmektedir. Zira günümüzde suçun nedenleri ile ilişkisi açısından üzerinde sıklıkla durulan bir başka önemli değişken de, cinsiyettir. Bu makalenin amacı cinsiyet ve suç ilişkisini toplumsal perspektiften ele alarak, kadınların suç işlemelerinde etkili olduğu düşünülen toplumsal nedenleri açıklamaya çalışmaktır.

Abstract
The rapid changes in the social and economic structure of today have caused some changes in the roles of women in society. With the women becoming more involved in social, political and economic life, interest in female delinquency started to increase rapidly. It is known that women in our country and the world commit less crime than men. Turkey Statistical Institute, according to 2017 data, the number of female offenders was 4.3%, the ratio of the number of all offenders are indicated. Criminal studies on crime, education, age, marital status, settlement, political and economic fluctuations, geographic conditions and many factors, such as the profession varies depending on. Today, another important variable that is frequently emphasized in relation to the causes of crime is gender. The aim of this article is to try to explain the social reasons which are thought to be effective in the crime of women by addressing the relationship between sex and crime from a social perspective.
