Abstract
Yapılan araştırmaların sonucu göstermiştir ki çocukluk ve medya arasındaki ilişki tek yönlü değil karşılıklıdır.Çocuğun gelişimini etkileyen toplumsal değişkenler içerisinde medya etkisi küçümsenmeyecek bir boyuta ulaşmıştır.Özellikle günümüzde teknolojide hızlı meydana gelen gelişim sayesinde medya sadece yetişkine yöneliktir kanısı değişmiş ve çocuk medyası başlığında yeni bir sektör gelişmiştir.Çocuğun temel haklarından biri olarak görülen medyaya katılım hakkına son yıllarda daha çok vurgu yapılmaya başlanmıştır.Yaşadığımız 21.yüzyıl’da çocuk medyası önemli bir sektör haline gelmekle birlikte çocukların yaşamları ekran önlerinde şekillenmektedir.Bu yazının amacı ekran önlerine doğan 21.yüzyıl çocuklarının gelişim dönemlerini medyanın nasıl şekillendirdiğini açıklamak,bu gelişiminin olumlu ve olumsuz yönlerini belirleyip çocukların gelişim dönemlerine medyanın olumlu katkısını artırıcı çözümler üretmektir.Bu çalışmada literatür taraması yapılmıştır.Çocuk ve medya konulu çeşitli kaynaklar taranmıştır.

Abstract
The result of investigations showed that the relationship between childhood and the media is reciprocal, not one way. The media effect within the social variables affecting the development of the child has reached a dimension that can not be underestimated. Owing to the rapid development in technology today, media has only changed to adult oriented culture and a new sector has been developed under the heading of children's media . In the 21st century, as children's media become an important sector, the lives of children are shaped in front of the screen. In the 21st century, children's lives are shaped in front of the screen. to explain how the media is shaping, to identify the positive and negative aspects of this development and to determine the positive contribution of the media enhancing the water to produce solutions. In this study literature was searched. Various sources on children and media were scanned.
