Abstract
Derin bir tarih ve kültür geçmişiyle Anadolu, giyim tarihi açısından pek çok giysi örneğiyle doludur. Kültürel değerler içinde ayrı bir yeri olan geleneksel giyim ve giysi örnekleri geçmişle bugünü bağlayan köprü görevi görmektedir. Pek çok sanat dalının işbirliği ile geçmişten günümüze ulaşabilen giysi örnekleri ait olduğu zaman, coğrafya, kültür, din ve sosyolojik yapı hakkında bilgiler vermektedir. Çalışma konusunun geçtiği Gaziantep ili konumu itibariyle en eski medeniyet merkezlerinin izlerini taşımaktadır. Pek çok kültüre ev sahipliği yapmış olmasından dolayı çok zengin giyim kuşam arşivine sahiptir. Kültürel yaşamdaki zengin birikim giysilere de yansımıştır. Bölgede yapılan dokumacılık ve el işçiliği ağırlıklı işlemeler giysilere ayrı bir anlam katmıştır. Arşivlenebilen giysi örnekleri incelendiğinde el emeği eserler bunu kanıtlar niteliktedir. Bölgede yer alan müzelerde daha ziyade geleneksel kadın giysi örneklerine rastlanmış olsa da erkek giyim örneklerinin sayısı da oldukça fazladır. Bu çalışma kapsamında incelenen geleneksel erkek giyim örneklerinden içlikler Gaziantep Şahinbey Savaş Müzesinde bulunmaktadır. Çalışmada ulaşılan 5 adet erkek içlik oluşturulan gözlem fişleri doğrultusunda; kullanılan malzeme, renk, model, kesim, dikim, süsleme ve boyut özellikleri açısından incelenmiştir.

Abstract
Along with its deep hıstory and cultural background Anatolia is full of many clothing samples. Having a special place at cultural values traditional garment and clothing samples are the bridges between past and today. Clothing samples being able to reach today, give information on the social structure, religion, culture, geography and time which they belong at in corporation with many art branches. Gaziantep city which is the subject of the study carrries the marks of the oldests civilizations because of its location. It has a very rich archive of clothıng as it has hosted many cultures in its boundaries. These rich guests leave their peculiar marks on the clothıng along with the culture. The knıttıngs and mostly handmade decorations gave a seperate meanıng to the clothıng in the regıon. When the archived garments are examıned, the handmade works seem to prove effect of this rich culture. Although traditional women clothıng samples seem to be rich in the regıon there are plenty of men clothıng samples ın the museums of the regıon. The men clothıng samples of the study are from the samples among the Gaziantep Şahinbey War Museum. The 5 men underwear samples used ın the study, are examıned ın terms of materials used, colour, modal, cuttıng, sewing, decoration and size features.
