Abstract
Tarihin başlangıcından bu yana insanoğlu, hayatını kolaylaştırmak amacı ile birçok işlevsel objeden yararlanır. Sanat tarihine bakıldığında ise çok sayıda işlevsel obje farklı şekillerde farklı sanat dallarında kullanılmıştır. Hazır nesne ile başlayan bu süreç günümüzde sanat akımlarının gelişmesine olanak sağlamıştır. Basit bir objeyi sanat objesine dönüştürmek için yaygın olarak kullanılan iki yöntem vardır. Bunlardan birincisi Marchel Duchamp ile ortaya çıkan hazır nesne “Ready Made” kavramıdır. Bu yöntemin temeli hazırda var olan bir seri üretim malını birebir kullanarak işlevinden uzaklaştırarak ve nesnenin bağlamını değiştirerek sanat objesine dönüştürme düşüncesine dayanır. Bunun dışında yine bir işlevsel obje, konu olarak seçildiğinde onun formunu, hammaddesini, boyutlarını ve bulunduğu ortamı değiştirerek onu sanat objesine çevirmek oldukça sık kullanılan diğer bir yöntemdir. Bütün bunlar göz önüne alındığında bu bildirinin amacı, basit bir işlevsel objenin sanatın konusu olabileceği görüşünü farklı sanat dallarından farklı sanatçılar ve eserleri üzerinden ele alarak, işlevsel obje ve sanat objesi arasındaki farklılıkları ve benzerlikleri irdelemektir.

Abstract
Since the beginning of the history, human being benefits from many functional objects with the aim of making life easier. As these objects can be found in nature, as a mass production objects are also use doftenly in daily life. When we look at the history of art, large number of functional objects are used in different branches of art in different ways. Today, the process beginning with ready-made objects is enabling the development of art movements. There are two methods commonly used to convert simple object to an art object. One of these is the idea of ”ready-made” which is coming up with Marcel Duchamp. This method based on the idea of conver ting the context of object to an art object by changing and by removing the mass production object from its function. Still the function all object is chosen as a subject, turning it into an art object by changing its form, raw material, size sand natural environment is the another method used quiteoften. When all these are taken in to consideration, thepurpose of thisdeclaration is examining the differences and similarities between the functional objectand art object with an opinion of a simple functional objectmay be subject of an art by hand over artist sand their Works out from different fields of art.
