ÜNİVERSİTE ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN NAMUS-TÖRE VE ŞİDDET ALGISI (FIRAT ÜNİVERSİTESİ ÖZELİNDE BİR ALAN ARAŞTIRMASI)

Abstract
Bu çalışma üniversite öğrencilerinin namus, töre ve şiddet gibi kavramlarına olan yaklaşımlarını ölçmeye ve buna karşı olan tutumlarını değerlendirmeye yöneliktir.Araştırmanın evrenini Türkiye’dekiüniversiteler ve örneklemini ise Fırat üniversitesinde öğrenim gören öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır. 2014 – 2015 öğretim yılı güz döneminde Bu üniversitede öğrenim gören 374 öğrenci ‘likert anket yöntemi’ ile araştırma kapsamına alınmıştır. Örneklemi oluşturan toplam 374 öğrencinin 186’sını kız, 188’ini ise erkek öğrencioluşturmaktadır. Araştırma kapsamına alınan gruplara uygulanan anketler sonucu elde edilen veriler, SPSS programında çözümlenmiştir.Çalışmada elde edilen verilere göre, üniversite öğrencilerinin ortaya atılan hipotezlerin büyük bir kısmını doğruladıkları, erkek öğrencilerin sorunlara daha ılımlı yaklaştıkları, kız öğrencilerin ise daha çok kadına yönelik saldırı şeklinde algıladıkları görülmüştür. Bununla birlikte üniversite öğrencilerinin, namus, töre ve şiddet kavramlarına karşın duyarlı oldukları ve olumlu baktıklarını söylemek mümkün görünmektedir. Araştırmanın sonuçları üniversite öğrencilerinin namus, töre ve şiddet algısına ilişkin görüşlerini ortaya koyması açısından önem arz etmektedir.

Theresults of theresearch of universitystudentswithdignity honorandviolence is importantbecause it demonstrates on theperception of its views.
