Abstract
Osmanlı Devleti’nin son dönemlerinde Türkçe konuşma meselesine ağırlık verilmeye başlanmıştır. Bu dönemde Türkçülük fikrinin etkisiyle tartışılmaya başlayan Türkçe meselesi, Cumhuriyet döneminde Türk Ocakları Kurultaylarında gündeme gelmiş, Arapça, Kürtçe, Rumca konuşulmasının önüne geçmek için farklı çözüm önerileri delegeler tarafından kurultaya sunulmuştur. İlk kurultay olan 1924 Kurultay’ı Hamdullah Suphi’nin etrafında şekillenmiş, Cumhuriyet sürecinde Türkçe konuşulmaması, Osmanlı Devleti’nin uyguladığı yanlış politikalara bağlanmıştır. 1926 Kurultay’ı Şeyh Said İsyanı’nın Doğu Anadolu’da bıraktığı etkiden dolayı Kürtçe konuşma üzerine yoğunlaşmış, 1927 Kurultay’ı devletin otoriterleştiği ve 1928 Kurultay’ında ise Türkçe konuşma meselesinde farklı çözüm önerilerinin tartışıldığı bir süreç yaşanmıştır. Bu çalışmada amacımız Türkçe konuşma meselesine yaklaşımlarda Müslüman ve Gayrimüslim topluluklara uygulanan yöntemler arasındaki farkları ortaya koyup tartışmaktır.

Abstract
During the last period of the Ottoman Empire began to focus on the issue of Turkish speaking.
