Abstract
Günümüzde çevresel tahribatların ve doğaya verilen zararların hızlı bir şekilde arttığı gözlemlenmektedir. Hızlı nüfus artışı, sanayi tesislerinin inşa edilmesi, nesli tükenen hayvanlar, orman alanlarının yok olması doğanın tahribine neden olur ve yaşamı tehdit eder. Bunun için çeşitli eylem ve gösterilerle doğal yaşama ve çevreye verilen zarara dikkat çekilmeye çalışılır. Edebiyat da çevreye ilişkin duyarlılığını konuyu ele alışıyla gösterir. Pek çok edebi türde çevre ve çevre sorunları ele alınır. Edebiyatın bu amaçla kullanılmasıyla başlayan yaklaşımlar sonucunda Çevreci Eleştiri (Ecocriticism ) ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu çalışmada çevre ve edebiyat ilişkisinden yola çıkılarak Müge İplikçi’nin Cemre (2006) adlı romanı incelenecektir.

Nowadays, environmental deterioration and damages to nature have been increasing rapidly. Rapid population growth, construction of industrial plants, endangered animals, the destruction of forests leads to the destruction of nature and threating life. Forthis, natural life and environmental damage tries to draw attention to with various actions and demonstrations. Literature shows relating to the environment the sensitivity of handling issues. Environment and environmental issues are discussed in the many genres. Literature as a result of the approach used for this purpose began has emerged with the Ecocriticism. In this study, Müge İplikçi’snovel Cemre (2006) will be examined on the basis of environmental and literary relations.
