AN ANALYSIS ON THE LOWER STRUCTURE AND COLUMN HEADS OF THE KYZİKOS HADRIAN TEMPLE

When the Roman Emperor Hadrian came to Kyzikos during his Anatolian tour in 124 AD, he helped to rebuild the temple under the supervision of the Architect Aristainetos. According to the architectural pieces found in the excavations, the temple was built largely during the Antonine Period, but could not be completed. Because during the excavations, as well as fully processed specimens, semi-processed or drawn but never processed samples were found. Amphoras were processed to the column drums which are under the Corinthian heads of the temple. A lot of plastic is given, as shown by the fact that the acanthus leaf ends, which are immediately above the Kalathos base ring and are processed in two rows, are broken. The narrow and deep carving of leaf veins increased the light-shadow effect. This is the characteristic of the second half of the 2nd century AD. Abakuse lesbos kymation and fine blank removal followed by ion kymation have been processed. Although the middle vein of the heart was not deeply carved in the heart-tongue motif in Lesbos kymation, the language motif began to disintegrate. However, it is noteworthy that corruption in general is not much. It is seen that the egg decoration in the Abakus section is long, the surface of the bowl is flat, the sides are spread out and the bowls are touched to the lower part of the wipe and attached to the wipe. At the arrowheads, giving the protruding side and backward to the wing parts, the long and the tip of the foundation is not sharp, and the part where the handle is about to be triangular, conforms to the style of the period. The stylistic comparisons of the column capitals to the temple show that between 150-170 AD, the golden gilded headpiece can be made between 150-160 AD and the full column head between 160-170 AD.

Human beings are in constant communication with their environment. While language accompanies thoughts, non-verbal communication reveals emotions. Non-verbal communication is the type of communication that people use intentionally or unintentionally without using words. Facial expressions, tone of voice, hand and arm movements, gestures and facial expressions, head movement, body posture, touch, gaze are the most commonly used and meaningful channels of nonverbal communication. What is said in communication is as important as what is not said. The problem of the study is the question ˝What kind of messages does body language give during the non-verbal communication of teachers in educational environment? The teacher, who can use body language effectively, is more successful in conveying messages to the students who are in receiving position. Teacher's posture, silence, gestures and facial expressions, look, use of classroom space, tone of voice, clothing, distance to students are the factors that facilitate the goal to be achieved in the learning process. Using body language effectively in the learning-teaching process increases productivity on the one hand, on the other hand gives students the opportunity to analyze body language and reinforces the messages. The study is qualitative and literature survey model will be utilized. The aim of the study is to draw teachers' attention to the importance of body language and the need to use it more accurately and effectively in learning-teaching environments.

Along with the Cubism art movement led by Georges Braque and Pablo Picasso, which emerged at the beginning of the 20th century, Collage technique emerged. The collage technique is obtained by pasting all kinds of materials on the surface. Assemblage technique, on the other hand, was emerged in the works of artists such as Marcel Duchamp and Kurt Schiwitters, and as the art term, it refers to a three-dimensional work in which many materials are brought together. Contemporary art movements and the accompanying techniques have gained a place in world art by being undergone many changes and developments. During this development process, biennials emerged as a tradition of exhibiting contemporary art. Looking at the development process of biennials, their numbers have increased rapidly and undergone some changes from the past to the present. Collage and assemblage techniques continue to be the subject of new problems that can be handled not only in painting but also in architectural and sculpture studies by expanding the scope of painting. In the art of painting, it is seen that the concept underlying the material is important and the thought is guided by the art, and instead of making art based on the skill of the hand, the idea directs the art, even in the canvas painting, it is experienced in a period when the intellectual infrastructure is sought. In this research, the works of artists working in collage and assemblage in 14th and 15th Istanbul biennials were examined and their analyzes were made.

In this study, the relationship between environment and organization is tried to be measured by using quantum mechanics within the scope of management and organization science which is the branch of social sciences. In this sense, this study shows that social sciences can be explained by the rules of natural sciences. In this study, two situations have been formed for quantum mechanics measurement of organization-environment relations. For both of these cases, fictitious organizations and environments and fictitious data related to the organization and environments were created. Based on these data, the method of measuring the probability of establishing a qualified relationship with the environments and the uncertainty quantities in the environments by specifying the relations of the organization with the environments (two environments) in the wave function is presented with applications by using quantum mechanics.

RELATIONSHIP EFFICIENCY ANALYSIS BETWEEN LEARNING ORGANIZATION DIMENSIONS

In today's world, organizations' learning becomes very important. Because organizations have to learn to control the variables around them, reduce the pressure of the environment and adapt to the environment. Otherwise, if organizations cannot provide learning, if they cannot adapt to the environment according to institutional theory, uniformism and legitimacy, and condition dependency theory, they may eventually die within the framework of ecological theory. In this context, Senge (2013) examined the learning organization in 5 dimensions. Senge (2013) states that, when an organization is a learning organization, it will be more meaningful for an organization to become a learning organization when the 5 disciplines mentioned are applied in relation to each other rather than the separate application of these 5 disciplines independently. Therefore, Senge (2013) states that in order for an organization to become a learning organization, the dimensions of the learning organization must complement each other. Organizations should avoid excessive effects that do not affect the relationships between learning organization dimensions in applications that affect each other. Because otherwise, this situation creates cost for organizations. Therefore, in this study, firstly the effects and relations of learning organization dimensions on each other were obtained by canonical correlation technique within the scope of perception of learning organization dimensions of workers in Karabük iron and steel factory. Afterwards, data envelopment method was applied to measure the relationship effectiveness between learning organization dimensions. According to the results, there was a relationship between personal mastery (KU) and team learning dimensions (THO) and mental models (ZM) and team learning dimensions (THO). Therefore, personal mastery (KU) and team learning dimensions (THO) and mental models (ZM) and team learning dimensions (THO) did not create any unnecessary cost to Karabük iron and steel factory in completing each other. On the other hand, since the relations between the other learning organization dimensions do not provide effectiveness, Karabük iron-steel factory has created unnecessary cost for the other learning organization dimensions to complement each other.

“Inclusive education” is the basis where the students with special needs are sharing the same education and learning environment with their peers without disability by making arrangements in accordance with their individual needs. Inclusive education is known to provide constructive contributions to the professional development of students with special needs in particular and all classmates and even classroom teachers in general. There are different approaches that can be implemented both inside and outside the classroom in order to increase the efficiency of mainstreaming education and to prevent potential problems in the process. One of these approaches is the co-teaching approach, which is a teaching approach with increased importance in mainstream education in recent years. The effectiveness of this approach, which can be summarized as classroom teachers and special education teachers who have different field knowledge, to make planning and implementation together for the purpose to be taught, is influenced by several factors, especially teacher perceptions and attitudes. The aim of this study is to examine the perceptions of teachers and school managers working in primary schools about co-teaching practices in metaphorical perspective. This research is a qualitative study. In this study, one of the qualitative research strategies, phenomology, was used. The sample of the study consisted of the managers and classroom teachers working in the primary schools of the Ministry of National Education of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in the 2018-2019 academic year.

Iraq, which is one of the richest oil reserves in the world, is at the top of world oil production and exports. During the US invasion of Iraq in 2003, some oil plants were damaged and there was a significant reduction in production capacity. In the post-2003 restructuring process, Iraq managed to attract a significant amount of foreign capital and was once again at the top of oil production. A constitutional Kurdish autonomous administration was established in northern Iraq after 2003. Initially, it is planned that all the oil resources of Iraq will be under the administration of Iraqi Administration (CIA) and 17% of all the country's oil revenues will be given to the Local Government of Northern Iraq (KRG). However, the Local Government of Northern Iraq held tenders for oil fields in the region and concluded numerous agreements with international oil companies, independent of the Central Iraqi Administration. While the issue of sharing the authority of oil fields between KRG and MIY continues to this day on this, each country and company is in the position of self-interest.

In this study, the total factor productivity calculated using annual data from 1980-2017 with OLS in Turkey; then, the long and short term effects of total factor productivity on inflation was examined by ARDL Boundary Test. According to ARDL model, changes in total factor productivity have no effect on inflation rate in the long run; it has been concluded that it has a positive effect in case of no lag in the short run but has positive effect on the lags values. The error correction coefficient of the model was statistically significant and 28% of short-term imbalances disappeared in the long term. However, the logarithmic real national income variable used as the control variable in the model has a positive coefficient in the long run and negative coefficient in the short run. It is stated that the increase in total factor productivity increases production in the first stage and this puts downward pressure on inflation; in the following stages, it can be interpreted that the increases in labor or capital costs caused by the increase in productivity triggered inflation.

This study was conducted to investigate the relationship between social adaptation skills and parental attitudes of five-year-old children attending preschool education. The sample of the study consists of 200 children and their parents in the five-year age group attending kindergarten in Bornova district of İzmir city center in 2019-2020 academic years. A “General Information Form” containing demographic information prepared by the researcher was used in order to collect data. In order to measure the social adaptation skills of children, “Marmara Social Emotional Adaptation Scale for Five Year Old Children” was used. “Parental Attitude Scale” was used to determine the attitudes of the parents. According to the results of the study, a negative correlation was found between the general parental attitude of the parents and the social emotional adjustment levels of the five-year-old children. This result indicates that when the parental attitude levels are increased, the social emotional adjustment levels of the five-year-old children will decrease, and when the parental attitude levels are decreased, the social-emotional adjustment of the five-year-old children will increase.

The purpose of reserch on Enis BATUR as a literary figure, who is one of the important figures of Turkish Litrature after 1980; however, there is no comprehension study on his poems, is to try to reveal his view of poetry by examining his first poetry book: “TUGRALAR”. The poem which is true for him is produced with an understanding that the reader can understand after a certain trouble by not revealing a clear language but a concealed language like an alchemist. Enis Batur's understanding of poetry is revealed with an understanding based on mystery rather than being understood as II.Yeni’s understanding. The poet, who focuses on the revolutionism of poetry, does not advocate any view in his poetry book “Tugralar”. He states that there is parallelism between poetry and Turkish Art Music. The poet who is against the traditional things is against all kinds of limitations in the poem. Therefore, neither does he use the measure of syllable in poetry, nor rhyme and repeated voice in the most part of poetry. In the first chapter; the life and general personality of the poet are focused. In the second chapter; It is stated that Batur understands poetry in the context of it. In the third chapter; poetry technique has been tried to be determined in terms of content and form by analyzing the book. The fourth chapter is concluded with the conclusion part.

Stairs were first used by people to raise their shelters in order to protect them from the dangers on the ground and to provide them access to things at high altitudes. In later periods, people built temples that were raised with steps to reach God (or what they considered sacred) and to show their power. Initially built with limited materials and simple forms, the staircase gained different shapes and textures with the use of reinforced concrete and steel after the industrial period.
This building element, which has a very important place in the discipline of architecture, has always been intertwined with the cultural, religious and linguistic structure of the society. For this reason, staircase has semantic, symbolic and psychological sub-identities alongside its function. Sometimes it was a monument that was placed in the memory of a society and sometimes it was an art object depicting the most important thought of an artwork. And in architecture, stairs define the space, affect the space and even form the space. Thus they have gone beyond being a building element.
In this study, the symbolic, aesthetic, artistic, monumental, experimental and multifunctional characteristics of the stairs are emphasized through examples and an alternative classification to the existing classifications in the literature is proposed.

The Tourism sector, in the World and the Turkey's economy gaining impor-tance day by day and is one sector that does not lose its importance over time. Turkey's tourism revenues in 2018 were realized as 25,2 billion dollars. The importance of the sector for our country stems from the benefits such as pro-viding capital needed in economic development, increasing employment op-portunities and helping to eliminate foreign trade deficits. In this context, tou-rism revenues are affected by exchange rates. It is expected that after the inc-rease in demand, it will have positive effects on the tourism revenues of the country, since the exchange rates increase, because the touristic goods and services are cheap. When the exchange rates fall, tourism revenues of the co-untry tend to decrease. For this reason, the relationship between tourism reve-nues and the exchange rate attracts researchers and policy makers. This study attempted to examine the case of Turkey between the years of 2010-2018 the height of the exchange rate in effect on the tourism sector. In the research, a result has been reached with the calculations made by using statistics on tou-rism revenues and exchange rates. As a result of the research, it was conclu-ded that the height of the exchange rate increased the number of tourists co-ming to the country, but the amount of foreign currency did not increase, and that the incoming tourists received more services with less foreign currency.

ZOSIMUS’ DEPICTION OF THE BATTLE OF MURSA: CONSTANTIUS II VS MAGNENTIUS

The pagan historian Zosimus, who lived in the Anastasius period in the fifth and sixth centuries, produced a study in Greek called Historia Nova. The aim of the work is to hand down the decline process of the Western Roman Empire to the next generations. According to Zosimus, the process that started with the transition from the Republican administration to the dictatorship system accelerated with the Christianization and barbarization of Rome. At the introduction of the work, Zosimus said that he had intended to explain all the events that adversely affected the empire but after a brief summary from Augustus' accession alone to Diocletian's tetrarchy, he gave a much more detailed narrative until 410, after which the work ended suddenly in the middle of the sixth book, probably because he died. The most significant feature of the work is that Zosimus attempts to deal with all the subjects that match up with the main theme of Historia Nova. The historian's focus is on the barbaric attacks of the empire, religious attitudes and political stance of the emperors, throne struggles and civil wars. For Zosimus, the new series of events that led the empire to chaos after the third century crisis began with the death of Constantinus. According to Zosimus, theological debates and imperial crisis that occured in the reign of Constantinus II, Constantius II and Constans, Constantinus’ sons whom he raised as Christians, contributed to the weakning of the empire along with the threats at the frontiers. In addition, Constantius II’s struggle against Magnentius, who rebelled by taking advange of the riot, was northworty for Zosimus hence it served his purpose. The Battle of Mursa that took place in 351 is regarded by ancient sources and modern researchers as the bloodiest civil war of the Roman Empire. Historia Nova is the only source we have in terms of the details of the war, and the depictions of events and emperor portraits of Zosimus also make the work indispensable. In this study, the interpretations of Zosimus' War of Mursa will be analyzed by comparing with the ancient sources of the era and the effects of the causes and results of the war on the administrative structure and military order of the Roman Empire will be discussed in the light of modern literature. The main purpose of the study is to examine Zosimus' thoughts on decline and fall within the framework of the Battle of Mursa taking into consideration the religious tendencies of the parties and to question the value of Historia Nova as a historical source.

In our fast changing society, people find it harder than ever before to build up lasting relationship. This is not a situation only between human-human but human-objects as well. Every day, people over produce, resulting in massive waste. It is believed that users throw away objects simply because they think they are no longer emotionally attached with the object. As most people are detached from production of goods, it is hard for them to understand the invisible side of production such as causing damage to environment, created by waste disposal during the manufacturing process and when products reaches its end of life. This makes them indifferent to the environment. In this paper, the idea of “emotionally durable design” (Chapman, 2005) will be firstly discussed. The paper will focus on exploring a variety of Japanese Aesthetics such as "Wabi-sabi", "Ma", "Kawaii" etc.; and traditional Art such as “Kintsugi”. The aim of this paper is to explore the spirit behind Japanese Art and Aesthetics in order to bring them to application.
