The Republic of Turkey was founded after a war of liberation led by Atatürk against the imperialist. Atatürk launched a series of reforms after the independence in order to modernize the society. These reforms were accepted by the majority of people. However a group of people, who oppose Atatürk as the leader of independence movement and his reforms, emerged. After failing to start a rebellion to destroy Atatürk’s efforts, they showed their hatred and vengefulness by trying to kill him. But those attaempts also failed. The plot of 1935 which is said to be organized by Çerkez Ethem is one of those attempts. Ali Sait Ursavaş, who was a deputy of Urfa, is accused of cooperating with the plotters. But all the accused acquited since no solid evidence had been found. This paper will cover the 1935 assasination attampt on Atatürk’s life, how it was covered in local press in Adana and how the people of Adana reacted to this plot.

Throughout the history developments in science and technology have been important source of inspiration for artists. Naum Gabo’s constructions in space, Bridget Riley’s opart works, Robert Smithson’s works involving the idea of entropy, Anish Kapoor’s vantablack sculptors , Kubisch’ electrical walks and Eva & Franco Mattes’ performances in which simulation and reality are intertwined can be listed as examples of such reflections. In music, with the developments in audio frequency technology, new sound sources became available for composers which ultimately led to the born of electronic music. All these developments can be evidence for transformation of fine arts through developing technology. This study examines the reflections of the scientific and technological developments in music and visual arts, and focuses on how these developments improve the expressive qualities of fine arts. In the study, some collage and assemblage applications resulted from a particle physics project are exemplified. The results of the study show that scientific developments can have positive effects on visual arts education process.

Although Middle East has many complicated problems the most important problem is absolutely the Palestine-Israel conflict. The Palestinian-Israeli conflict is directly or indirectly affecting other problems in the region. Hamas is one of the important actors in the region. As clearly stated in the HAMAS Pact published in August 1988, the ideological structure and organization of the organization is based on the Muslim Brotherhood established in Egypt. The emergence of the Palestinian Muslim Brotherhood as a separate party under the name of HAMAS came to the fore with the Intifada, which began in 1987. The organization which has ended the Al-Fatah dominance in Gaza is both having harsh criticism and praise both in world and Turkey. Like the other Middle East organizations HAMAS is a very well organized group. HAMAS has shifted to a more realistic line in time. In fact, the indirect support given by international actors to Israel's oppressive and violent policies has pushed Palestinians into violence. Also contrary to the common thought HAMAS is standing at a moderate and reasonable point at the moment compared to past.

Decision trees are used in many areas including classification, regression problems. The main difference of the Model Tree method from other regression trees; instead of producing an estimated value in the leaves, it creates multivariate linear models. In this study, the sales analysis and estimation of a company operating in stainless steel sector were realized by using M5P (Model Tree) method. Total sales, montly sale values of machinery and metal sectors between January 2008 and December 2017 were obtained from the database of the company. The independent variables in the model were determined as nickel, chrome, iron, prices, dollar rate, Producer Price Index, Industrial Production Index and Manufacturing Industry Capacity Utilization Rate, which affect stainless steel demand. According to the findings obtained, four models were obtained according to the Dollar Dry-Chromium mine critical values, which are similar to each other in terms of total sales and metal sector sales. Root node and critical values in the Total Sales and Metal Sector sales were realized in different figures. Six models were obtained according to the PPI-Dollar dry critical values, which are root knot PPI in the estimation of the machinery sector.

Since the end of the Cold War period, there has been an intense debate in the international community and in the academic community about the development of terrorism by weak state factors. In particular, the emergence of the Al Qaeda terrorist organization as the head of the September 11 attacks and the connection between religious radicalism and terrorism has been articulated. Limited state capacity leads to inadequacies in combating violent extremism and terrorism. The inability of the state to control its borders makes the region extremely sensitive to transnational operations such as smuggling, kidnapping and human trafficking that finance terrorist organizations. The process of radicalization, which expresses the stage before terrorism, results from poor governance. Individuals and groups who are dragged into despair reflect their anger and reaction within the framework of their belief systems while they are rebelling against the state or system that exposes them to all kinds of injustice, corruption and human rights violations. The next dimension of radicalization can be terrorism. With this study, we will examine the process of terrorism and the terrorism of the radical groups in the weak state conditions and the failure of Libya, which is continuing to a civil war environment with the Arab Spring.

Muhammad ibn Kudamah who is the scholar of the Hanbali fiqh, appears to belong to his predecessor line (Salafizm) in the work called Lumat al-Itikad, a short theological work. In the whole study, it is emphasized that the mind cannot fully reveal the nature of God, therefore it is necessary to adhere to the idea of God in the mind of the companions (ashâb) instead of comment. In this sense, it is necessary to avoid any theory of reason. Muhammad ibn Kudamah chose to believe in such matters without interrogation by acting on the basis of their predecessor method. However, his thinking should not mean that he is an anthropomorphist. His main concern here is not to accept literally texts (nass), but rather to reveal that the mind is insufficient for the nature of God. As a matter of fact, he has always stated that God is higher than other beings. He stated that God is unique in terms of uniqueness (vahdaniyyah). Our main aim in this study is to be able to reveal that the Hanbalis in particular of ibn Kudamah are not anthropomorphist.

The fact that vocal music forms constituting the majority compared to the forms of non-vocal music in Classical Turkish Music is an indication that this music has developed based on human voice in terms of its structure. The fact that the vocal element is in the foreground makes vocal performance and therefore the use of human voice important. Contrary to the importance given to human voice, there is a limited number of studies on the subject. The work done so far has generally focused on the analysis of vocal recordings of certain performers, thus being limited to the XXth century and after. Although historical studies have been carried out within this scope, it is observed that there is not enough focus on the question of whether there is information about human voice in sources of the musical literature written before this date. Although there are various issues related to music in it, edvars, which are mostly theoretical works in which maqams and usuls (rhythmic pattern) are explained are the oldest sources of written information related to Classical Turkish Music. One of the other issues in the edvars related to music other than the maqams and usuls is the importance of human voice. In this study, based on the above question, the importance of human voice in edvars which is an issue that is not emphasized until now was examined. The aim of the study is to contribute to the literature by classifying the scattered data in the written sources and researches related to the subject.

Recently, one hundred thousands of people living in the different geographies such as Afghanistan, Palestine, Iraq, Myanmar, Sudan, Syria, and Somalia, exposing to the obligatory immigration resulting from clash environment, have taken refuge in the neighbor countries that are more secure. As a result of civil war experienced in Syria, our neighbor, considerable number of Syrians were exposed to immigration and obliged to take in refuge in the neighbor countries, especially Turkey. Of course, as an extension of responsibility arising from history, Turkey, which does not avoid extending a hand to Syrian refugees, despite their economic burden, lodge refugees more than 3 million on its territories in respect of today in the scope of “open door” policy it has implemented.
One of the milestones in the struggle for modernization and modernization of human beings is to produce tools to dominate nature and to tame the animals that it will benefit from in this struggle. This first collaboration against nature lasted for many years as long as the human being needed the power of the animal. Human and animal unity, which is one of the important elements of the world ecosystem, will continue to fight against nature. The researches have shown that human beings use the technological tools in their struggle against nature and that this relationship is gradually terminated and that the ancient relationship between human and animal is replaced by abuse and violence. In this study, the psychological, sociological, educational, religious and operational dimensions of these maltreatment and acts of violence between man and animal will be examined. It is observed that these violent behaviors of people against humans and animals are observed differently in different cultures, but there are two approaches. The first one is anthropocentrism and the second is physiosynthesis. The first one is anthropocentrism and the second is physiosynthesis. In the light of these approaches, it can be seen that the misinterpretation of religion, strict rules against some animals and some magical traditions in which the animal represents the devil, evil spirits, or as a means to remove them from the bodies captured by these souls, the use of some limbs in the deterioration of spells constitutes the basis of this negative attitude towards animals. . In addition, the fact that human beings reflect their psychological problems to the animals and carry the violence that they are carrying to the social dimension also reveals another dimension of the research.

The relationship between the other sub-dimensions and the sub-dimensions of the basic psychological needs scale was moderate and positive. Male university students, on the other hand, have a relationship between subjective well-being and autonomy and relationship needs in a strong and positive way. The need for competency and the sub-dimensions of the baseline psychological needs scale are found to be moderately and positively related to each other.
