Cities are places with cultural heritage. They are places where residents can find almost all their needs. Sculpture art, due to its character (as in all branches of art), wants to be watched, seen and noticed. The sculpture has the opportunity to realize this aim with large masses in the city squares. Artists are not content to see their sculptures only in workshops, collections or even in museums. Therefore, they wanted to go outside and share with people in urban environments. By placing their sculptures and reliefs in Squares and on the facades of buildings, artists have contributed greatly to the identity of the city beyond adding meaning to its appearance. These three-dimensional art objects (sculptures) have undoubtedly become the symbols of the city and have become an integral part of human life. Although the sculptures express the feelings and thoughts of the artist during the creation process, they have a mission of witnessing people's lives and time, since they are now the visual language of the city dwellers and aesthetic objects that make sense of the city. In this article, Gustave Eiffel's "Eiffel Tower" in Paris, France, "Statue of Liberty" in New York, USA and Anish Kapoor's "Cloud Gate" sculptures in Copenhagen, Denmark, which contributed to the identity of the city, We think that it is important in terms of covering the evaluations that we think are new.

Applied sculpture symposiums, which started in the 1980s, pioneered contemporary sculpture practices in the public sphere, and started to spread throughout the country with the demand and support of public institutions. In addition to enabling the artists to have the opportunity to share their thoughts with the audience by transforming their thoughts into practice, it makes an important contribution in terms of bringing the audience and the artwork together and following the formation process. While this mutual interaction inherent in applied symposiums contributes to the development of cultural development, cultural heritage and the art of sculpture, contemporary sculpture examples of leading artists of our country and guest artists from many countries meet with the audience in public spaces through these symposiums. The witnessing of the audience to the construction process of her works, or the witnessing of the urban space and time in which the sculpture exists, has an important effect on the identity of the space. However, the fact that the Symposiums attracted great interest in time and spread rapidly all over the country brought along some problems in itself. In the research, one of these problems, the lack of inventory records, is addressed. The main source of the problem is the lack of a healthy inventory record covering all applied sculpture symposiums by any institution of the state. In the research, which will use document analysis, one of the qualitative research methods, it is aimed to offer solutions to this basic problem within the scope of sculpture symposiums held in Turkey. As a result of the findings obtained in the research, it is aimed to increase the quality of the symposiums, to contribute to the studies to be done in this field by re-evaluating the necessary measures and solution proposals for the problems that will be caused by the informality that will cause the disappearance of cultural memory over time.

The winds of change felt in the interwar Polish poetry also manifested in prose, albeit in different dimensions. After all, the country was in captivity for over a century and the Poles were liberated in this period. This atmosphere of enthusiasm has been effective in both the development and change of prose. In the twenties, while the old generation writers made a name for themselves with their novels in which social problems were at the forefront, in the thirties we see that grotesque and psychological novels became widespread. Important writers such as Witkacy, Gombrowicz and Schulz began to write their proses in innovative ways. Especially psychologica novels and stories were loved and adopted in this period. Iwaszkiewicz’s story “Young Girls of Wilko” has an important place in Polish literature as it blends psychological approach with symbolic realism. In this study, it will be discussed how Oscar-winning director Andrzej Wajda transferred this work to the cinema.

The purpose of this research is to determine the views of social studies teachers on teaching current events in the context of epidemics and pandemics. Given that the pandemic still poses a threat to human and public health and is a current issue, as well as the possibility of similar situations occurring in the future, it is necessary to consider it as a current event within the context of a social studies course. The research study group comprises 12 social studies teachers working in secondary schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education in Antalya city center during the academic year 2021-2022. The case study, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the study. Data were collected with an open-ended question form created by the researcher. Descriptive analysis was used to examine the collected data. As a result of the research, it was determined that the teachers believed that the pandemic should be handled within the scope of teaching current events in social studies education and that because the social studies course includes social issues, epidemics should be mentioned with historical examples within the scope of the course. Furthermore, they stated that when they returned to face-to-face education after the restrictions, they taught a lesson on the development of the pandemic and measures in their first social studies lesson, which was enriched with educational videos, drama, case studies, and visuals. In addition, it has been determined that social studies teachers place a high value on incorporating current events into their lessons. In line with the research results, it can be recommended that practical training for teachers on teaching current events in the social studies course be conducted, as well as research in which the experiences of returning to face-to-face education be transferred, in order to examine the effects of the pandemic on the education and training process in all aspects.

With the birth, the individual needs a social structure in order to develop and learn, first in childhood and later throughout adulthood. First of all, the child, who realizes their first learning in the family, which is the cornerstone of this structure, acquires information through various symbols in school life, professional life and other social environments and shapes their behaviors by structuring this information in their mind. Children acquire knowledge of genders and gender roles in these ways. One of the external factors that have a significant impact in this structuring process is the media. Through media contents, various facts such as behavior patterns, attitudes and values that are accepted in the society are conveyed to individuals, especially to children who are open to mental shaping. One of them is the phenomenon of gender. In this study, the effects of gender stereotypes presented through media contents on children who are in the process of sexual development have been compiled and tried to be revealed in the context of literature.

Examining and analyzing Turkish folk music with computational approaches is a research area that has developed in recent years. This approach, which is located in the discipline of computational ethnomusicology, is based on the application of a whole of numerical operations on the music of the people, which is a natural production-composition environment based on creation itself, apart from other traditional music. While all of these applications were carried out with signal processing models on sound recordings in most researches, it is now seen that symbolic data is used intensively. In this research, it is aimed to present an overview of how computational approaches used in the analysis of Turkish folk music have progressed since their implementation, what kind of studies have been done as a model and approach, and which datasets have been used. The findings are presented based on computational world music approaches. Within the framework of the data obtained, it has been observed that computational approaches in Turkish folk music have increased visibly in recent years. While these are mostly carried out in the musical analysis stages followed in the structural analysis of a musical piece, it has also been observed that analyzes on analysis and modeling are made with analyzes such as artificial intelligence and stochastic models in some studies.

Human beings who continuously searched for the meaning of their existence attributed certain meanings to the events and situations that they could not understand. The search for meaning has thus brought with it many beliefs and rituals of religious or non-religious nature, and even these beliefs have filtrated into institutionalized beliefs. The inability to grasp the supernatural has glorified the individuals who performed these deeds in the eyes of the society and placed them in an elevated position. After embracing Islam, the Oghuz tribes entered a new cultural phase, and the task of apostolising and guidance among the nomadic and settled Turks was conducted by those who devoted themselves to this duty. Colonizer Turkish Dervishes or Khorasani dervishes explained the principles of the new religion by using the power of melody and rhetoric in accordance with their own cultural codes, and they increased both the permanence and the influence of the new belief system in the minds and especially in the hearts. Those known as saints, dervishes or religious mentors practiced some supernatural actions similar to prophetic miracles for various reasons. These events had two functions: one was to punish or persuade non-believers; other was to reinforce the believers' faith. These saintly personas preserved their spheres of influence with the miracles they performed not only while they were alive, but also after their deaths. Thus, many stories formed based on the lives of saints, whom the public deeply respected. This paper analyses miracles and parables in the TV series, 'Yunus Emre: The Journey of Love' in 44 episodes; ‘Mavera’ in 26 episodes; and ‘The Journey of Love: Hacı Bayram-ı Veli’ in 26 episodes broadcast by Turkish National Television Association (TRT) in 2015, 2021 and 2022 respectively.

With the effect of globalization, the development and transformation in information and communication technologies have influenced the whole world. In particular, technological developments in recent years have made digitalization necessary by affecting the cultural, economic and political processes during which transformation from societies into nations takes place. Therefore, states can communicate and receive feedback by establishing strategic, political relations with both their own people and other states and their peoples. This change and development in information and communication technologies has created a virtual world in the internet environment through social networks and mobile technologies. Today, more than half of the world's population uses mobile devices, and additionally half of the world's population is positioned on social media. This increasing interest in social media and mobile technologies has not only affected the life practices of individuals but also changed the management policies and strategies of countries, as well as has enabled the introduction of new concepts and terms in the field of communication. One of these concepts is digital diplomacy, which has started to be used frequently today. Digital diplomacy is defined as bringing these events to the agenda by addressing the events in foreign policy mostly through digital communication tools. The most important difference that distinguishes digital diplomacy from traditional diplomacy is that it reaches more individuals in a short time and has the ability to receive instant feedback. These developing communication and information technologies have digitized diplomacy on the one hand and digitized news production and distribution processes on the other. In the light of these developments have shown that journalism and diplomacy are positioned indistinguishably from each other and diplomacy should have a digital perspective, at the same time, they have affected and changed the understanding of journalism. Today, while the journalists particularly working in the foreign news department are collecting their news; they also have to renew and train themselves in the sense of digital journalism as well as re-reviewing their news sources and news production processes. The aim of the present study is to determine how the diplomacy method, which has a very important role in the management of relations between countries, has undergone a change with digitalization; additionally, it has been tried to focus on how it affects the understanding, functioning and function of journalism. Moreover, in the study, the relationship of digital diplomacy with news were evaluated and the innovations brought by digital diplomacy to the understanding of journalism were focused on. In order to better understand the subject in the study, a large number of old and new sources related to the subject were examined and a literature review was conducted.

Being an important scientific basin, Egypt's central position in the Islamic world and its hosting of various ideas caused it to be a centre of attention. Some Muslim intellectuals living in Egypt in the 19th century, thinking that the Islamic world was behind the times in the face of the challenges of Western thought, started to seek solutions to get rid of this situation, and as a result of these searches, reform and renewal movements were born. Among the suggestions put forward to get rid of the current bad situation, the improvement of religious sciences was also included, and naturally, issues related to sunnah came to the fore. When the issue of sunnah came to the fore, naturally, the issue of text criticism became a part of these proposals. The idea that text criticism, whose traces are also seen in the tradition, should be prioritized in the evaluation of the narrations, has been put forward by the advocates of the idea of reform and renewal. While this situation, which caused serious debates in Egypt, paved the way for the emergence of different approaches, it also had serious effects in various areas of social life.

As a result of the research, it has been determined that the value acquisition of children starts from early childhood and in the family environment. However, the development of values in children is provided at a significant level through educational processes and social relations in the school environment. Teachers' work on value education is carried out through the activities included in the education program. The lack of values in children causes perceptions such as exclusion, loneliness, anxiety and unhappiness, which lead to disorders in attitudes and behaviors. In this case, undesirable situations such as social media and substance abuse can be seen in children along with behavioral disorders.

In the period of the Tariqah, the process of seyr-u-sulûk starts with the adherence of the sālik to a sheikh and ends with the application of certain mystical manners and principles on the way to reach the Truth in order to bring the good habits and feelings inherent in the creation of man to a permanent state. However, the information about how this process started and continued pre-Tariqah period is limited. There is no clear evidence as to whether a sheikh was involved in the process or whether the process was completed without a sheikh. It is thought that the first written work expressing how the process of Seyr-ü sulûk works through individual experience is Kuşeyrî's Tertîbü's-sulûk fî Tarîḳi'llâh. The risale focuses on how the process started, how to engaging with the sheikh, the states and stuations of the sālik, what happened in these states and situations, and how the process ended. The sālik must first turn away from the world and turn to the things that Allah has made obligatory and cleanse himself. Then, on the path of Truth, should be engaging a sheikh, whose knowledge is trusted. Then, he should follow his dhikr and progress as shown by the sheikh. The sālik, who entered various states in the process and reached the situations, should distinguish whether the information coming to him is from the Truth or Satan and continue his progress. The sālik who continues his dhikr in this way will eventually reach marifetullah.

SEEKING THE EXPLICIT CONSENT OF THE DATA OWNER IN THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION LAW AND GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION

Due to the rapid progress of computer and internet technologies, it has become easier for real or legal persons to access all kinds of data, information, and data. Thanks to the Internet, it has become possible to reach the desired information in seconds. Considering that technological developments and the security of individuals are inversely proportional, and security is decreased with the increase in access to information, the need to protect private information or data has grown more and more important. Thereupon, the need for a special regulation on the protection of personal data under Turkish law has emerged. In this context, Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, which was in draft form for a while, was published in the Official Gazette on 07/04/2016 and entered into force. This was due to the violation of rights arising from the recording, storage, and sharing of personal data. Though many consider that the current level of protection is insufficient in terms of the protection of personal data, securing the protection of personal data with a special law, binding the processing of personal data to certain rules and principles, and enacting sanctions through legal regulation is a significant gain for individuals. The most significant rule or principle in the processing of personal data is undoubtedly to seek the explicit consent of the data owner. However, matters such as under which procedures and conditions the explicit consent of the personal data owner will be obtained or that express consent is not required are also relevant. Considering that the power of disposition over personal data is transferred to the data controller with the processing of the data, the importance of seeking the existence of the explicit consent of the data owner, which is accepted as the beginning of the data processing process, will be better understood. In this context, the concept of explicit consent, which is an imperative condition for the legal processing of personal data, is a subject worth examining.
