Along with Covid-19 pandemics, a lot of new regulations were introduced within Turkish legislation with respect to economic and social life. These regulations were introduced by Law no:7244. This situation is not specific to Turkish law. In our study, we mentioned some prominent examples worlwide relevant to our study title, in order to shed a light for potential, future changes in Turkish law. The general assemblies of associations and cooperatives are postponed with the Law no:7244. However, contrary to glabal practices, no regulation has been introduced to govern the general assemblies of joint stock companies. Although this might be because the companies are economic actors, it should be kept in mind that the cooperatives are also the part of aconomical system. In our study it is analyzed whether this discrimination is justifiable and the results of it.

AN INCREASINGLY IMPORTANT MINE FOR THE ECONOMY OF ŞANLIURFA: URFA BUILDING STONE

The need for Urfa stone, which has been used as a building stone in Şanlıurfa for centuries, has gained value again with a focus on tourism in our national agenda. As the said building stone is economical, adaptable to the climate and has touristic value, its usage areas are increasingly rising. Due to the abundance of the mentioned stone reserves in the region and ease of processing and easy shaping and decoration of the stone, its economic value has increased considerably. New companies are being established for stoneworks, and the team and equipment are increasing for easier processing of stone. The new investments on the treasury land leased from the state have resulted in an increase in new business opportunities in the province of Sanliurfa, making significant contributions to reducing migration to the west of Turkey. Due to the use of extremely modern tools and machines in the new quarries, the amount of production has increased. When the stone masters from Aleppo, who fled the Syrian civil war that began in 2010 in Sanliurfa, arrived in Şanlıurfa, there has been a revival in the Urfa building stone production sector. Many new stone buildings have been built in rural areas because foreign stone masters and workers process more stones in a shorter time with electric modern tools, causing the cost prices to decrease in structures in constrast to the stone chipping methods that our local stone processing masters saw from their ancestors. Shaping this building material, which is easy to process due to the fact that the material is soft when extracted from the quarry, prevents the prices from increasing because it does not require much energy. The locations of the areas we refer to as the old and new Urfa stone quarries are different today. While the old quarries were established on the slopes of the Çaykuyu plateau overlooking Sanliurfa province in the west of this province, the new quarries are located near the Sanliurfa-Gaziantep highway, depending on the fact that transportation opportunities are easier. The stones extracted from old quarries were used only in the official and private dwellings in the province of Sanliurfa, while the stones from the current quarries in the province are marketed to various parts of Turkey, resulting in significant economic gains.

The themes of oppression and control play a highly significant role in dystopian fiction which illustrates alternative world scenarios. These fictional social orders portray possible worse scenarios unless certain necessary measurements are taken. In these portrayals, individuality is suppressed for the alleged welfare of the society and the collective interests of a ruling body are accordingly highlighted. The aim of this study is therefore to discuss the representation of oppression and control in dystopian narratives through the analysis of the three selected speculative texts, namely <em>A Modern Utopia</em> by H. G. Wells, <em>Brave New World</em> by Aldous Huxley, and <em>Nineteen Eighty-Four</em> by George Orwell with specific references from relevant secondary sources.

When one looks into the subject of geometries that attempt to explain fourth- dimensional space, it is inevitable that one encounters references to Cubism. The purpose of this paper is to find what the similarities between this mathematical concept and cubism are. There are many historical arguments as to how the cubists encountered literature about the fourth-dimension, and whether they were exposed to it at all, which I will for the most part omit and instead let the art speak for itself. It is important to see how two fields are interrelated in order to gain a better understanding of both fields, in this case art and geometry. In addition, visualizing things that the human eye cannot immediately perceive, that must be left up to the mind is important to people who want to gain a better understanding of their reality.

The paper shares the appreciation of and approach to morality in Joseph Andrews and Pamela. Henry Fielding and Samuel Richardson represent the same age; however, their understanding of morality widely differs from each other. Fielding’s work embodies the idea that man is susceptible to weakness. Whereas Richardson’s characters define and epitomize morality as a fixed idea. Certain examples are representing the impracticality of Richardson’s idea of moral philosophy. Henry Fielding creates an atmosphere wherein the characters are neither good nor bad but have human-like traits. The paper reflects on the ideas relating to morality including chastity, hypocrisy and vanity. Joseph Andrews debates over morality as a comparative perception whereas Pamela propagates the Christian concept of virtuousness. Criticizing Richardson’s gender biasedness concerning morality, Fielding seems to communicate that both sexes could encounter dissipated sexual cravings, and it would be an injustice act to tag man as the offenders. Opposing Richardson’s linear concept of morality, Fielding adds few more aspects of morality referring to material corruption and professional corruption.

It is a known fact that projects that are not completed on time cause economic and psychological damage. In the Suruç Plain Irrigation Project prepared within the scope of the GAP, it took many years for the water to meet the plain. In this study, it was aimed to reveal how the Suruç Plain Irrigation Project was evaluated by the farmers before the plain started to be irrigated, and especially suggestions for social problems were developed. Although irrigation is an important production-increasing factor on its own, it should not be expected to cause any structural change in agriculture. Irrigation can only realize the structural change foreseen with the measures to be taken in a wide area from soil control to organization. Irrigation projects can cause sudden and large changes in the area where the water will be supplied. For this reason, in order to achieve the expected increase in income from the projects, all institutions and organizations, especially producers, must be ready for the new conditions that occur as a result of these sudden changes. In particular, the lack of work on social issues may affect the success of the projects to be made. The increase in the social studies conducted in the region not only in quantitative terms but also in terms of quality may be a pioneering light for each new project to be prepared.

In today's world, entrepreneurship is a very important issue as it represents the imagination and creativity of the individual, which is the human capital of businesses. The main purpose of this study is to determine the entrepreneurship levels of university students who are potential entrepreneur candidates and to examine whether there is a significant difference between the descriptive qualities of the students and their entrepreneurship average score. In the study conducted with the participation of 219 students, the entrepreneurship scale of Yılmaz and Sünbül (2009) was used. In the analysis of the data, Mann-Whitney U and Kruskal Wallis H difference tests were used in addition to descriptive statistics. As a result of the research, it was determined that more than half of the university students (56.6%) did not take any courses on entrepreneurship, but it was determined that the students had a high level of entrepreneurship (136.24 ± 23.89). It has been calculated that the departments with the highest level of entrepreneurship are Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Nutrition and Dietetics, Child Development, Nursing and Occupational Health and Safety, respectively. As a result of the difference tests, it was determined that the only significant difference belongs to the department variable. It was determined that this significant difference was caused by the students of the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department (126,93) compared to the students studying in the Occupational Health and Safety Department (66,14). Therefore, it may be suggested to add courses closely related to entrepreneurship that can guide the professional lives of students to the curriculum.

He who sets laws for the sake of human affairs in this world and the hereafter is. Allah gave man the authority to search and discover legal rulings. Throughout Islamic history, scholars have been authoring the science of jurisprudence, which is the cornerstone of understanding the rulings of religion. Among these works is Alhawi, the script written by Abu Bakr Al-Husayri. This study aims to address the content of Alhawi Fatwas, a significant script for the Hanafi jurisprudence school of thought. The research answers a principal question: What is the content and structure of Alhawi script? Search within this framework found that the book consisted of these main sections: Worship and Reverence, Financial dealings and Permissibles, Prohibitions and Aversions, and Perpetration. Each section had sub-sections. These sections and their content were studied and compared with the other scripts in the Hanafi jurisprudence school of thought to explore the reasons behind structuring the content this way. The script contained an indexing system with standards similar to the indexing system used today. It can be noticed that there was some differences in the order of subjects between Alhawi and other jurisprudence scripts. Some topics included in Alhawi script were not usually included in other jurisprudence scripts. This gives an insight into the importance of the subject of this paper which looks at the mechanism for structuring the topics of jurisprudence (Fiqh).

FIRE, MIND AND THIRD EYE

The fire that Prometeus stole from the gods enlightened the lands (Mesopotamia and the Middle East) where man tamed nature for the first time, where the practice came to life, entered the world of symbols by finding the inscription, and where the god sent messengers. The third eye is the eye of the heart that witnesses the creation of the universe, watches over and watches over it (ayn al-kalb). The third eye has an essence that sees, hears, thinks and touches it. Unlike animals, the third eye belongs to the human being, who comes to the world without any equipment and who is constantly looking for his archetype (essence) by carving himself with the attitude of a sculptor, opening his place of residence, and reaching the rank of Honorable Creatures (artist, scholar, wise). Just as human beings need essence (archetype), talent and place in order to attain the dignity of living creatures, the formation of cultural climate (space) also requires elements of background, line and form. It is thought that the place coincides with the background, the archetype with the form, and the skill with the line. It is possible to talk about four basic spaces, namely Egypt, Greek, Byzantine and Islam, with very different characters in history, and the third eyes opening to these spaces. Background, form and line elements are coincident in ancient Egypt; the created space carries the essence to eternity by hiding life like a chest. Once (sophists) were aspired to the democratic third eye from the individual, once (Plato) the autocratic third eye was aspired from the ideal reality. In Byzantium, unlike the Greek, life was blessed as a background modulator, transformed into the light emanating from the core shadows. In the sphere of Islam, the dialectic of death-life is explained with the dialectic of form-content, the line has gained a fractal power with the melting of the background and form within each other, the third eye that opens has turned into an immigrant fractal force that sees the original relation of abstract expression and figurative expression, establishing by touching, hearing and thinking.

THE REPRODUCTION OF ART WORKS FROM THE 20th CENTURY TO THE 21st CENTURY AND THE MEANING RELATIONSHIP: THE “URINAL” EXAMPLE

The "urinal" became an iconic piece of art that turned art upside down in the 20th century. With this work, Marcel Duchamp ignored tradition and transformed the ordinary object we use daily into an art object, without recognizing any rules. The "urinal" was exhibited in 1917 by Marcel Duchamp in a gallery space. We see that the subject of "urinal" has worked as a theme by many of the Modern and Contemporary artists from the 20th century to the 21st century. The interdisciplinary use of the urinal in the field of art is also important in the 21st century. This article has different interpretations, techniques and language usage of the artists with different understandings of the same subject in different periods in the history of art in the 20-21th century. The avant-garde artist Marcel Duchamp, who dealt with the urinal as the first subject, displayed an anti-art attitude by placing his art work in a gallery space. It has been tried to be examined by many artists in terms of understanding and language differences in a wide range. The reproduction of a work has been conceptually reloaded by many artists with ironic and parodic discourse by interpreting and questioning it.

THE EFFECT OF PARENTING STYLES ON COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT ACCORDING TO PIAGET'S THEORY IN JOSE MAURO DE VASCONCELOS' "MY SWEET ORANGE TREE" AND "LET THE SUN HEAT"

Inspired from himself, Jose Vasconcelos' "My Sweet Orange Tree" and "Let the Sun Heat" are categorized as young-adult fiction. Zeze, main protagonist of both, has varied difficulties. While he was living with a poor and irresponsible family and befriended the Orange Tree at first, in the second one, he is adopted by a rich, perfectionist and authoritarian family. Cognitive levels of the main characters were examined according to Piaget's Cognitive Development Theory. It was determined that they were in the symbolic phase of the Preoperational Stage and their behaviors such as magical thinking, specific reasoning and animism were shown. While the first Zeze is expected to be in this period, the 11-year-old Zeze is expected to be in the Concrete-Operational Stage. As conclusion, children cannot progress in their cognitive development due to their needs and use symbols to meet needs such as compassion. Development is individual.
