In the life of a nation in a relaxed and peaceful life, in the life of the nation in unity and togetherness, without worrying about future, the country and the homeland it lives on has a significant place in its homeland. The developments and changes happening in other countries and societies surrounding the territory of the country as well as the events that are or are likely to be in the borders of their own countries affect the welfare and peace of the nation. Historical ties, especially supporting our inclination towards our own geographical proximity due to our religious, political and cultural relations, increase this influence. Syrian civil war occurring next to us and it has become a global problem, Turkey has moved to a different position when viewed from this point. As a result, various fields of work have been formed in Turkey, such as the Syrians who came to my country, Syrian people's situation, education, shelters, subsistence, health services, cultural adaptation studies, language learning and so on. When we look at these studies, it has been published a number of studies that deal with the situation positively or negatively, either side by side or unbiased, or from a critical point of view. In these studies, Syrian definitions have been made in various forms and Syrians have been portrayed. In this study, the definitions and descriptions of the Syrians that took place in the work of the Syrians about the teaching of Turkic languages as foreign languages were taken up. In this area considerable degree on the subject since the 2011 report, article or book written thesis. To reach all of them or to reflect all they will need to write a book. Therefore, the definitions and descriptions given in a number of articles have been given here and the evaluations have been made on them.

This paper aims at investigating the pesticide use tendency of farmers growing tomatoes in greenhouses in the Mediterranean region, their environmental sensitivity, and pesticide use levels as quantity and value. In this research, a total of 100 questionnaires were administered in Antalya, Adana, and Mersin provinces the Mediterranean region where greenhouse production is practiced intensely. The survey data covered the 2018 production season. According to the results of the research, the farmers were found to implement incorrect agricultural fight methods while growing tomatoes such as failing to predict the spraying time for diseases and weeds, lack of spraying knowledge, and inappropriate spraying practice. There has been a growing number of news about the excessive use of pesticides in greenhouses in recent years. In this study, too, 47% of the farmers were found to comply with recommended spraying doses, whereas 53% were determined to not follow the validated spraying dose. The factors that have an effect on the right dose use of individuals were determined by defining dose-compliance/non-compliance as a dependent variable in the probit model. While average agricultural income, attending pesticide training courses, wrong pesticide used, and visiting agricultural institutions increase appropriate dose use, Adana province, cooperative membership and agricultural supports cause used overdose pesticide. Arrangements should be made to encourage the individuals running the greenhouses to visit agricultural institutions for exchanging accurate information about spraying methods.

Among the literary genres, the novel is one of the works closest to reality. Novel is the works that describe the events that have happened or are likely to be experienced in time, place and person. Of the many genres, the closest to reality is the type of myth. This research aims to identify the similarities of life between Albert Camus's "Plague" and "Coronavirus" and to examine how various levels shape social life with conceptual analysis and themes. In other words, the current research will tend to prove that what happened in the fictional plague novel coincides with the reality of the corona virus reality in the world. The sample of the research consists of Plague novel and Corona virus news and news analysis in national and international visual and print media. The data obtained were analyzed and interpreted through descriptive and content analysis, one of the qualitative research methods. The research reveals that the language of the outbreaks is the same, although their time, location, and conditions are different. It is determined that what happened in the plague novel of Albert Camus and what happened in Corona virus epidemic coincided to a great extent. Only the type of viruses, time, people and places differ. Furthermore, the suffering is the same. Beyond being a novel, this similarity transforms Camus' work into a research and analysis work. Of course, as the plague virus ends, the Corona virus will one day end, but disaster or evil will remain a reality. The greatest proof of his reality is disastrous.

Tirmizî's Sunan has a key position in Kutub al-Sittah. Tirmidhi also makes various evaluations about narrators and narration besides giving narrations about provisions in his work Sunan. Besides carrying out sanad evaluations for the narration he added in his book, Tirmidhi also gives the views of the scholars about the narration. One of the most important features of Tirmidhi's work is that it includes the opinions of scholars who think differently, rather than expressing his own view on the subject. Tirmidhi includes the disputes among scholars as well as the views and practices of them on the narration in his work. In this study, the contribution of Tirmidhi's method in understanding the narrations that contain contradictory provisions among themselves and the approach of Tirmidhi will be examined by comparing it with the views of different scholars. Tirmidhî mentions different views and practices about the provisions in his work. He makes important evaluations by mentioning the scholars who have different thoughts on the narrations in the same subject in the book named Sunan. We decided to do this study because how Tirmidhi approached these conflicts and the choices he made among these narrations are important in understanding and practising the narrations.

Because, in the background of the concept or object described in poetry, there is the perception of the poet. After the aesthetic communication, the poet uses the sound and the image to carry his aesthetic judgment to his poetry and puts it in an aesthetic design. After that, an aesthetic communication occurs between the reader and the work. In this study, we tried to reveal the characteristic of this aesthetic communication in the poem ”From Another Hill" which we witnessed Yahya Kemâl Beyatlı's perspective on Istanbul.

One of the binary oppositions in the history of philosophy is the dialectic of the question and the answer. A tradition which is born by the question, asked by a philosopher, continues through the moulding of the question and change in the answer. A question asked by Aristotle a.k.a the “First Teacher” and how it is taken in 13th and 20th centuries can be evaluated in this manner: Duns Scotus, who responses the questions of Aristotle on being and Gilles Deleuze, who philosophises via the concepts of Duns Scotus: “Haecceitas” can be taken as a question and a response to this question and the scholia of the question. In this work, firstly how Aristotle developed the problematics will be demonstrated and then how it takes place in the thought of Duns Scotus and finally how Gilles Deleuze covered the term haecceitas will be taken.

River valleys are the important archives for the determination of the past climatic changes. With this chacteristic, they are used frequently for both the paleoclimatic investigations and the researhes of the geological and geomorphological evolution. The studies which are about the fluvial responces to the global climatic changes in the world are mostly evaluated basing on the North Europe rivers. Therefore a general systematic has formed for the all river systems in the world. However, this approach doesn’t contain the Mediterranean rivers, even South European fluvial systems. The aim of this study is to reveal the different responces of Anatolian and Europe rivers North Europe was complatelly covered by glaciers during the cold periods and the vegetation didn’t present, so the coarse sediments was acuumulating in this period. Besides in the beginning of the next warm period the rivers formed their terraces, incising their valleys and deposits. Whereas in the low latitude regions like as Turkey, there was steppe vegetation during the cold periods. Thus the erosion of the coarse sediment was difficult. Consequently the responces of the river systems to the glacial-interglacial periods were not same everywhere in the world and it may be mistake to generalize about all fluvial systems.

The logo, which is a graphical sign that helps and recognizes and supports people, is the most important component of corporate identity as it is the first element encountered. The corporate identity is usually in the direction of the logo’s colors. Icon, name, slogan, appearance, design, font and other similar items are other important components of corporate identity. Since corporate identity is the way the institution presents itself, high impact and language unity give an idea about the service or product of the institution. Institutions that can keep their services and products at the same level with their corporate identity can become a brand. As a marketing method in the branding process, all of the institutions, uniforms and vehicles should be different, attractive and catchy.

Although the oldest application example of the vehicle graphic is the door numbering used in the first motor automobile race Paris-Rounen race in 1894, drawings and illustrations on non-motor vehicles have been encountered since ancient civilizations. Henry Ford, who developed the line production in 1908, said that “You can choose the color you want as long as it is black”, although it contains irony, it is said that both the technical difficulties of producing colored vehicles in the conditions of the period and the shade differences in black are difficult to understand. Black in color represents power and weight, as well as associated with mourning and death. That’s why Black refers to the state.

Some of the important duties of the police force on behalf of the state are to ensure public order and security and to detect crimes beforehand, prevent them from happening and carry out investigations. In the institutional leg of the institution’s objectives, the police car vehicle graphics of the agency were examined and a design example was developed.

As in many parts of the world and within the borders of the Ottoman Empire, in the Demirci district, illegal events such as roadblocking, looting, murder, kidnapping, assault, counterfeiting, and misconduct have been encountered through the history. The rulers of the Ottoman Empire went through taking measures to prevent such illegal events and applied various punishment methods such as exile, prison, imprisonment in the castle, rowing, and execution according to the type of crime. In addition to this, it is determined that it is not possible to prevent the events in parallel with the troubles during the periods of stagnation and decline of the Ottoman Empire, as well as the spread of illegal events in many regions of the country. In the article, from the middle of the XVI. century to the end of the XVIII. century, the Demirci district and the illegal events concerning the locals were addressed, and the documents, especially the "Muhimme Books", recorded in various classifications obtained from the Presidential Ottoman Archive were used. We believe that with this study, the events, especially in the Demirci district, that occurred between the periods of mid XVI. century and the end of the XVIII. century, their effects and the general situation of the Ottoman Empire will be revealed.

William Makepeace Thackeray (1811, 1863) was one of the most important novelists of the Victorian era. Just like his contemporaries, he addressed the social problems of the British society in the Victorian era in his works. This period called the Victorian era in which Thackeray lived was a period in England where plenty of showiness existed and people attached importance to wealth and money. Vanity Fair, his work that earned him the greatest reputation as a writer, also addressed these social problems. What distinguished it from its contemporaries was that he dealt with these disruptions through satire and with its unique setting rather than a realist criticism. The present article aims to analyze the unique setting of Vanity Fair and find out the ways in which the setting contributes to satire.

Nâzım Hikmet, fled from Turkey through Romania to the Soviet Union, Moscow in June 1951. This is his third time in Moscow. When his first coming to Moscow as an university student, Moscow, is an art center with all the enthusiasm, energy, courage and experimentation of the October Revolution. However since the late 1920s, especially since the declaration of socialist realism as the official ideology of the State at the Soviet Writers Union Congress in 1934, it becomes the center of a supervisory, oppressive, uniformizing policy of art. Defending the artist's freedom of creation, aesthetic experimentation and universality throughout his life, Nâzım Hikmet has a hard time accepting the environment he encountered in this last visit to Moscow. He does not hesitate to voice his reaction loudly against the works that support the single man cult and which can be considered the same as form and content. His attitude will cause criticism of the State during both the period of Stalin and Kruschev, from the moment he took his first step into Moscow. In this process, Aleksandr Fadeyev who is the executive of Stalin's art policies prevents him from entering an open conflict with power, ensures his security in Moscow, supports and supervises him also. Therefore, it would be meaningful to discuss the variable dynamics of Nâzım Hikmet and Fadeyev’s friendship to understand Nâzım Hikmet’s relationship with the political-artistic environment he found there after his last visit to the Soviet Union in 1951.

Masjid, was built within the Kütahya Castle by Süleyman Şah, who ruled the Germiyanoğul between 1361-1387. As it is referred to as “blessed masjid” in the building inscription, it is known by many different names. Studies on Kütahya Castle so far have divided the castle into certain sections chronologically. It has been deemed appropriate to call the masjid built in the part called Yukarı Kale as the Yukarı Kale Masjid. Yukarı Kale Masjid has been repaired many times after its first construction and has largely lost its originality. The repairs were made in sizes that we can call rebuilding. However, the fact that the masjid was placed on a square base at the basic level allowed us to compare with similar examples built during the same period. As a result, it was revealed that the building was built in accordance with the general masjid architecture of the period.
