Abstract

With the development of computers and mobile phones, digital communication, a new type of communication, entered our lives. Especially after 2000s, it has become very widespread all over the world, especially among young generations, with smartphones. In parallel with the fast pace of our age, the digital communication technique has begun to take shape accordingly. A structure has been created in which the message reaches the recipients or recipients very quickly, as well as very quickly. ‘Emojis’ constitute the most important element in this rapid communication structure. As the very different message element, the ‘emoji culture’, where new ones are produced day by day, has quickly taken its place worldwide. Communications experts say that emojis will change the traditional communication structure in the 20-25 year future reveals how effective it is in terms of communication. In terms of communication, it will not be enough to handle emojis, which have become a part of our lives with their right and wrongs, in the visual symbols subtitle according to the science of communication. It should be considered as an independent communication element and analyzed very well conceptually and technically.
