Classical Turkish literature has a very strong depth in terms of content. The fact that its content is so strong and diverse has also influenced the course of Classical Turkish literature research over time. In addition to classical research such as the transfer of handwritten texts to modern Turkish, the interpretation of literary texts, social and cultural research in divan poetry, modern methods have recently begun to be tried by researchers. As an extension of Comparative Literature, the comparison technique has been used by researchers in different units of Classical Turkish literature, as well as the method of comparing Divan copies. In this study, information about comparative literature will be given first. Later, the relationship of Classical Turkish poetry with comparative literature will be evaluated. After that, a literary comparison study will be shown on the poems of the Hayali Bey and Nedim, which constitute the main subject of the work.
