Tirmidhi also makes various evaluations about narrators and narration besides giving narrations about provisions in his work Sunan. Besides carrying out sanad evaluations for the narration he added in his book, Tirmidhi also gives the views of the scholars about the narration. One of the most important features of Tirmidhi's work is that it includes the opinions of scholars who think differently, rather than expressing his own view on the subject. Tirmidhi includes the disputes among scholars as well as the views and practices of them on the narration in his work. In this study, the contribution of Tirmidhi's method in understanding the narrations that contain contradictory provisions among themselves and the approach of Tirmidhi will be examined by comparing it with the views of different scholars. Tirmidhî mentions different views and practices about the provisions in his work. He makes important evaluations by mentioning the scholars who have different thoughts on the narrations in the same subject in the book named Sunan.
