Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı, çevre temelli meydana gelen doğal ve toplumsal sorunların çözümü için bir güvenlik çerçevesi oluşturmak ve bu doğrultuda, çevresel güvenlik anlayışının yansımalarını Hatay örneğinde konu almaktır. Günümüzde karşılaşılan çevresel sorunlar, çağımızın en önemli sorunları arasında yer almaktadır. Kaynak kıtlıkları, çevre felaketleri ve terör gibi birçok sorunun, yerelden küresel düzeye kadar kendisini hissettirmesi, dünyanın her kesiminden konuya ilişkin çözüm bulma gayretlerini artırmıştır. Özellikle, konunun güvenlik boyutuyla birlikte değerlendirilmesi, bu çabaların en önemlilerinden biridir ve güvenlik boyutu, çevresel güvenlik kavramına daha fazla ilgi gösterilmesini sağlamıştır. Bu bağlamda, çevresel güvenlik olgusuyla farklı şekillerde karşılaşan Hatay’da, güvenliğin konusu ve aktörlerindeki değişimler incelenecektir.

Abstract
The purpose of this study, to create a security framework for solving natural and social problems occurring based on environment, and accordingly deals with to take matter reflections of environmental security conception at sample of Hatay. Environmental issues facing us in todays, is located within the most important issues of our time. Many problems such as resource shortages, environmental disasters and terrorism that can be made itself felt anywhere in the world from the local to the global level, has led efforts to find a solution on the issue. Especially, the subject which is evaluated together with the security dimension is regarded as one of the most im¬portant of these efforts and has led to more attention to the concept of environmental security. In this context, faced in different ways with the phenomenon of environmental security in Hatay, will be examined changes in issue and actors of security.
