AMASYA’DA GEÇ DÖNEM OSMANLI VE ERKEN CUMHURİYET DÖNEMİ KAMU YAPILARI HAKKINDA GENEL BİR DEĞERLENDİRME

Abstract
Tanzimat dönemi Osmanlı yönetim sistemindeki değişimlerin sonucunda ortaya çıkan kamu yapıları, yerel yönetimden güvenliğe, ekonomi yönetiminden ulaşım hizmetlerine değin, imparatorluğun geçirmekte olduğu dönüşümün mekâna yansımasının bir sonucudur. Üstelik bu yapılar, dönemin mimarlık tarihini anlamamız ve yorumlamamız adına önemli ipuçlarına sahiptir. Ele alınan bu çalışmada, söz konusu eserlerden, Amasya il merkezinde yer alan ve Tanzimat’tan Cumhuriyetin ilk yıllarına değin uzanan bir süreçte inşa edilen kamu yapıları mimari özellikleri ve kimlikleri ile ele alınacaktır. Aynı zamanda, Amasya kentinin son dönem Osmanlı ve erken Cumhuriyet dönemindeki gelişimi söz konusu yapıların konumları üzerinden tartışılacaktır.

Abstract
The public buildings, seen by the changes of the Ottoman administration system in Tanzimat period are the results of the empire’s transformation process, till the municipal administration to the security policy or till the management of economy to the transportation services. These buildings have also important clues for understanding and interpreting the architecture of the time. In this study, the public monuments of Amasya, constructed in the period from Tanzimat to the early Republic years will be examined with their architectural properties and original identities. The development of Amasya city during the late Ottoman and the early Republican periods will be also discussed in terms of the locations of these public buildings.
