Abstract

Kendi işinin sahibi olan ve olmak isteyen girişimcilerin şirket kurma motivasyonları içerisinde yer alan kar maksimizasyonuna alternatif olarak gösterilen değer maksimizasyonu sosyal girişimcilik kavramını en çok besleyen öğelerdendir. Bu bağlamda sosyal girişimcilerin kar ve değer kriterleri mercek altına alınmakta hatta sosyal girişimcilik için diğergamlı kapitalizm vaadi de denmektedir. Bu makalede, sosyal girişimciler ve girişimcilerin diğergamlılık değişkeni ekseninde farlılık gösterip göstermedikleri sorgulanmakta, “girişimcilikle diğergamlık harmanından sosyal girişimci mi çıkar?” sorusunun yanıtı aranmıştır. 355 girişimciden oluşan örneklem üzerinden yapılan analizlerde anlamlı sonuçlar çıkmış olup ayrıca bu çalışma içerisinde yer alan Rushton, Chrisjohn, ve Fekken (1981) tarafından geliştirilen 20 maddelik Diğergamlık Öz Değerleme Ölçeği (Self Report Altruism Scale) Türkçe versiyonunun açımlayıcı faktör analizi sonuçları ve iki grup arasındaki farklardan yola çıkılarak geçerli

Abstract

The promise of value maximizing constitutes a crucial and alternative form of motivational factor for social entrepreneurs different from for-profit entrepreneurs who have and who want to have their own business. In that respect, the profit and values of social entrepreneurship concepts are scrutinized thoroughly and deeply, even it is been called as “altruistic form of capitalism” In this article, the research question of “Does the combination of entrepreneurship/altruism produce the output called “social entrepreneurship”?” is proposed in the context of altruistic scale of entrepreneurs versus social entrepreneurs -that turns out significant results within the sample of 355 entrepreneurs-.
