Abstract

The factors which determine human behaviour can be rationalism, sometimes it can be habits or sentiments, social relations or norms, and it can be sometimes belief systems. In different social sciences, important social researches are made which show that there are important dimensions of human beings than the economic one. Human beings’ psychological, sociological and spiritual dimensions are at least as valuable as economic dimension. When the spiritual dimension is disregarded, humanbeings are caught to a meaning crisis in their life. Neoclassical Economic Theory reduced human beings to only one dimension which is economic. This approach of Neoclassical School caused social, environmental and moral problems. Therefore Economics science should evolve to a more human and moral approach again. In this study, the criticisms which are made to Neoclassical Economic Theory from the perspective of psychology, sociology and Islamic Theology are being told.
