Abstract

In this research, the inclusive music implementations of non governmental organizations’ with music and disability registered with The Ministry of Interior Deparment of Association in Turkey and among the 82 accessible music NGOs in the United Kingdom, the inclusive music implementations of 9 NGO’s, which servet to meet the musical needs of both disabled and non-disabled people were examined. In the study which examined the service purposes/group and inclusive music implementationa of NGOs of both countries, the data published in the official web sites of the organizations were based on in last two years. To acquire the data, were made a literature review. And the data were analyzed by content analysis. As a result of the research, in both countries, music is produced under the music title, and it serves to the inclusive music implementations of NGOs that serve disabled and non-disabled individuals. NGOs providing services under the title of music and disability in Turkey were found to be limited. In particular, NGOs in the United Kingdom are working studies on the using, training and designing of accessible music technologies. These organizations provide virtual music studios, online and bespoke training settings; career counsellig services to musicians, and offer education, scholar, exchange program and employment opportunities.
