Abstract

The closure policy followed by the Israeli occupation state against institutions working in occupied Jerusalem has started with the occupation of East Jerusalem during the Six Day War in 1967. It has notably expanded and increased recently. In this article, this closure policy will be addressed, which is part of the occupation's plans to Judaize Jerusalem. The article highlights the various forms of this policy and its declared and hidden reasons, in addition to revealing the secret goals of this policy. Furthermore, and based on the results of the research, this policy has been going on non-stop and steadily. The researcher discusses the negative impacts caused by this policy on Jerusalemites in all walks of life. The researcher concludes by taking briefly about Israel's other policies in Jerusalem in addition to its policy of closure.
