One of the important factors that make up the strong army is to have an effective air defense system. Turkey has taken various initiatives in order to attain these opportunities. The final decision in this direction was to buy the S400 air defense system from Russia. But, a high tone of voices were raised from some NATO member countries, particularly the US, about this prefer-ence. While decided to eliminate the need for air-defense system, Turkey strives to take steps by taking into account the reservations submitted to it by the allies.
