“HARMONIZATION OF ISLAMIC BANKS IN TURKEY WITH BASEL III FRAMEWORK REQUIREMENTS “ BASEL III ÇERÇEVE GEREKSİNİMLERİ ILE TÜRKİYE'DEKİ İSLAMİ BANKALARIN UYUMLAŞTIRILMASI
In this paper we seek to introduce and study Basel III requirements which aims to improve the quality of the capital base of the banking sector and to protect it from financial imbalances and financial crises by increasing the share of capital to risk-weighted assets, we also aim to demonstrate the commitment of Islamic banks to the Basel III standards and decisions to cope with the unexpected future shocks and the negative effects of the movement of the economic cycle without prejudice to the strength of their financial positions.
