Whereas current models used for increasing productivity brings many benefits, there are some criticisms on them. In this research, expert opinions on methods used to increase productivity in current production and critics on these methods were aimed to examine. In the research, 11 personnel working at automotive sector in Kocaeli city and 7 academicians giving lectures at International Travnik University Bosnia-Herzegovina and Istanbul Gelişim University with total 18 experts were subjected to deep interview. Afterwards, SWOT analysis on production methods was performed based on interview results. According to results, computerized and automated production systems are more suitable to new and composite materials, and gives successful results to decrease production time and increase production.
