Abstract

Supplier Selection; It can be stated that there are many criteria decision making problems that contain qualitative and quantitative criteria, depending on the sector, targets, geographical location, financial structure of the company. In this study, the supplier selection process of an importing company operating in the Industrial Kitchen Sector was carried out by using AHP and Gray Relational Analysis method. Company selection decisions were observed and decision criteria were determined by examining similar studies. The application part consists of two stages. In the first stage, the criteria used in the literature were examined. Accordingly, two main criteria are defined as strategic performance and organizational performance. Strategic performance criteria are cost, quality, time, flexibility criteria and related sub-criteria in the evaluation of manufacturing firms. Organizational criteria are the culture, technology and risk criteria that determine the sustainable adaptation between the company and the supplier. Strategic performance criteria and organizational performance criteria consist of 25 sub-criteria. Criterion weights were determined by Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. According to the findings, the organizational criteria are more important and the most important three criteria can be expressed as Quality Conformity, Technical and Design Capacity, Production Facilities / Capabilities. The company is expected to work with 13 suppliers; In addition to the traditional, sustainable approach, environmental awareness in the second level sub-criteria was assessed by the Social Responsibility criteria and the Gray Relational Analysis method.
