Abstract

The sample of this descriptive research aimed at determining the problems that the consumers prefer to determine the factors affecting the preference of the denim trousers and to determine the problems that they encounter in purchasing and constitutes 370 consumers including 170 female and 200 male over the age of 16 living in the Ankara provinces by chance sampling method. Data from the study were analyzed by using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS 15.00). The percentages and frequency distributions of the data were taken and the relationship between demographic characteristics trousers preferences and the problems were analyzed by using the Chi-Square test (P<0.05) According to the results of the research; it is seen that the problems of the movements and height arising from the abundant and classic preference, trousers preferences and trousers patterns are common in women and men. It also mentioned as one of the most important problems that the prices of high quality products are high.
