Abstract

European Union, after a long process of integration, has become a unity modeled by other countries in the terms of economically, politically and socially. The European Union receives immigration from many parts of the world because of its high quality of life and a more livable environment. Immigrants can affect the countries in economic, social and political sense. The European Union, influenced by various waves of migratory waves, is trying to remove the negative aspects of immigration by making regulations about migrations affecting itself. However, there is an inconsistency between the policies that Member States have imposed on immigrants, as the European Union has not been able to establish a clear and integrated policy in itself against the immigration problem. The study addresses the recent emergence of the immigrant problem in the European Union and the reactions of the European Union to the wave of immigration.
