Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the opinions of pre-service Turkish teacher educational program literacy levels. Descriptive scanning model was used in the study. The sample of the research is composed of 155 teacher candidates who are studying in Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Department of Turkish Language Education in fall semester of 2017-2018 academic year. In the study, "Educational Program Literacy Scale" prepared by Bolat (2017) was used to measure the educational program literacy levels of pre-service Turkish teacher. SPSS program was used in the analysis of the data belonging to Educational Program Literacy Scale. Data was analyzed descriptive statistics, independent groups t-test, one-way ANOVA test analysis.Pre-service Turkish teachers are stated that they regard themselves as the main elements of the educational program, content, learning and teaching processes, goals and measurement and evaluation.While pre-service Turkish teacher see themselves adequately as to the content of the training program, the item they see as adequate at the lowest level appears to be the measurement and evaluation. It is seen that there is a statistically significant difference between economic status, grading average and classroom change in the opinions of pre-service Turkish teacher educational program literacy level.
