Abstract

Today, rapid changes are taking place in information technologies. One of the main driving forces behind these developments is thought to be the developments in the field of software. In an environment where software is so important, a good analysis of customer needs is critical to successful software projects. The main aim of this study, to examine the influence of emotional intelligence on customer focused on software developers that develop the software with agile methodologies. To reach this aim, developed the research model and hypothesis and this model tested on 97 software developers that develop the software with agile methodologies. To make use of the regression analysis to test of the model. As a result of the research, to put forth the positive relationship between emotional intelligence and customer focused and to find the effect of the emotional intelligence to customer-focused about percent twelve (11%). In addition, demographic variables such as marital status and gender were found to have no effect on customer focus.
