Besides their health benefits, fruits have always attracted humans’ interest and been a source of inspiration for artists with their tree, shape, color, scent, and taste. Poets are also often inspired by fruits, which are among the most beautiful elements in nature, and have made use of fruits in analogy and metaphor to express their emotions and thoughts, and sought attractive expression by creating new connotations and images. Cahit Külebi, an important writer of modern Turkish poetry, also made broad use of fruits to express his admiration for nature.
