Abstract

There is widespread interest in understanding how Muslim women issues are perceived. Previous studies mostly concentrate in order to realize on a specific Muslim women issue in a specific country. It is the basic contentions of this study that how a series of Muslim women issues is perceived prevailing in all Muslim countries by non-Muslim country evidence. The participants of this study were 56 undergraduates at the Faculty of Business Administration in Bucharest University in Romania. A questionnaire, which conducted in different countries earlier, was administered comprising 33 characteristics of perception of a series of Muslim women issues. The findings suggest that while Muslim women are perceived having less individual freedom than men, a high gender inequality, and Muslim women encounter discrimination in various domains of their daily life, but it is perceived that women have higher freedom relatively in dealing with business activities in Muslim countries.
