Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the purpose of cognitive closure and psychological resilience, mental well-being, life satisfaction and happiness. In the created model, psychological robustness was replaced by a changing role between cognitive closure and other concepts. 404 university students voluntarily participated in the research. In the study; cognitive closing need, mental well-being, psychological resilience, life satisfaction and happiness scales were used. As a result of the study, it was found that the psychological resilience between the cognitive closure and the other four concepts was a partial mediator (χ2 / sd = 1.79, RMSEA = 0.087, SRMR = 0.065, AGFI = 0.88, GFI = 0.95, CFI = 0.96, NFI = NNFI = 0.93). As a result, the need for cognitive closure has been gained in the knowledge that it is related to the basic concepts of positive psychology, psychological well-being, mental well-being, life satisfaction and happiness.
