Abstract
The aim of this research was to determine the presenteeism levels of the workers in four and five star hotels, and identify whether there is a difference in the presenteeism levels of the workers in four and five star hotels. In line with this purpose, a survey was conducted on 426 people in four and five star hotel businesses in the central districts of İzmir city, which formed the sample of the research. According to the results of the analyses, a statistically significant difference was located between presenteeism levels of the hotel workers and the employment status in four and five star hotels. The presenteeism levels of the workers in the four star hotels were higher compared to the workers in the five star hotels. In addition to this, it was determined that the majority of the workers of four and five star hotels experienced presenteeism, that the motive behind the presenteeism was not related with only health, and that i
