Abstract

Public transportation services in the city are increasingly inclined to have private vehicles, depending on the satisfaction of the citizens. This tendency is due to traffic density, environmental pollution, etc. in urban centers. In this study, it is aimed to determine how the perception of satisfaction in public transportation service affects the vehicle density in the cities, and to bring solution proposals depending on these determinations. In order to be able to determine this questionnaire survey was done as data collection method. The questionnaire consists of demographic information and 15 questions. The main population of our work is the citizens residing in the province of Muğla and our sample is the citizens residing in the province of Datça. A questionnaire was applied to a total of 310 participants who wanted to participate in the study. The obtained data were analyzed by SPSS 16 packet program. Analysis; frequency distribution, factor analysis, reliability analysis, normality and homogeneity tests. Variance Analysis (Anova), T-Test, Pearson Correlation and multiple linear regression analysis were performed depending on these tests
