Abstract

The relationship that is shown and shown creates the essence of semiology. The Indicator object is the "thing" that equips you with the codes of life. This thing, the object, is called "something that works for something." This study is about the thoughts on the above sentence and the signs in the current life. It is assessed how a publication which is aimed to give information is designed and marketed and which results in it. A descriptive research format has been adopted as a method. With this method, a part of historical phenomenon is examined in the context of post-positivist approach methods. The text aims not to solve the problem called "Media and violence", but rather to better understand the problem, to examine it with different components in the context of September 12th. The targets of media and violence are guided by the guiding principle. In this context, it is based on the question of printed media and violence relation, firstly by the designer. Although it is enough to question this area through images, a visual and designed text that is actually designed is questioned in relation to the reader, the target group or a certain group of people. In the conclusion of the research it is stated that it is necessary to examine an object that has become a sign of violence, including all its units, those who design or produce the object. This result is articulated in design training institutions.
