Technological information is quite important especially fort he tiles thay are made with cuerda seca (dry cord) to be analyzed correctly. Cuerda seca which was applied especially at the beginning of Ottoman (Iznik) tile art can be considered as the start of the underglaze tiles which developed at later periods.
