Among the works given by the 16th century poet Mu'îdî of Tetovo, the ones which are on hand today give us the opportunity to obtain the sufficient knowledge about his poetry and his poesy. With the contributions of the literary environment he was involved in, Mu'îdî had fed on the classical tradition as much as possible and stayed on the traditional line. Even though the poet's exile which caused his mandatory departure from the attraction centre of the era; İstanbul, detract him from the literary school and the council of poets until his death, the works he brought into being had been sufficient to show that he was a wise poet. The poet who has built his works which he had written with a comprehensible and clear Turkish, with the theme of gloom and misery, preferred a lyrical and emotional way of expression and a sincere wording by using idioms and proverbs from time to time. Mu'îdî, who has fed on 15th century poets Necâtî and Ahmet Pasha who had left their mark on the era, shows that he was a successful artist in the line of the poets mentioned above, both with his success in his works and his poems which got into the poetry magazines by becoming notorious in his era.
