Abstract

Emotional abuse in the workplace is described as mobbing. It is becoming increasingly inflected concept not only abroad but also in terms of Turkish business life. It is a psychological pressure, which can have fatal consequences for the employee itself as well as for the whole company. Psychosocial research on mobbing is currently being carried out in a number of countries as well as in Turkey, mainly in Europe. In this research, the concept of mobbing is examined and the relationship between the frequencies of being mobbed and social-demographical factors of victims of mobbing is investigated. To this end, a research was conducted on health employees working in private, public and university hospitals and the relationship between the frequencies of being mobbed and social-demographical factors of victims of mobbing was analyzed.
