Abstract

Technological developments that have made us feel positive or negative in many phases of our life have also affected the education industry. The wooden, chalk, and eraser trio on the school started to take the place of smart boards, computers and presentations. Students are more interested in technology-intensive methods than traditional methods with the influence of their affiliates, and they are adapting more quickly to such transitions. Because of the relation between the achievement of the course and success, the success of the use of technological course material and the role of the student in motivating the students is the topic of discussion. The objective of the study is to analyze the attitudes of the accounting group at the beginning of the courses which the students at Harran University Faculty of Economics and Sciences and the Institute of Social Sciences are trying to clarify such discussions. In this context, online and face-to-face questionnaires were applied voluntarily to the students who took accounting courses. In the questionnaire survey group, distance education, WEB based education and information technology usage were tried to measure the success and motivation of the students. The data obtained from the questionnaires were analyzed using the SPSS program and the relationships and differences between the results were determined.
