Abstract

The liberalized market economy dominated in the world was included in Turkey at the end of the 1980s, and many regulations regarding economic life were made. Competition, of course, enhances the quality of goods and services offered on the market, while creating a market environment favorable to the consumer. Changes in the behavior of exhibitors in the market such as deciding and implementing the initiatives within the market and changes in the concept of competition that entered into life with the liberalized market economy have also become a matter of course. Enterprises can be monopolized by the goods and services they produce, as well as within the oligopoly market. Since the undertaking within the monopoly market is in a monopoly position in the decision-making and mobilizing stages, it can independently determine the price and production imbalance. In the oligopolistic markets, the decisions they make in the market can affect other undertakings because the goods and services they produce are homogeneous or close to each other. The aim of this study is to examine the concept of concerted action in oligopoly market in Turkey.
