Abstract

Although every design performed today has a conceptual substructure, most designers are either not aware of this conceptual sequence or do not pay enough attention to this stage. Generally, the designers do not know clearly how the designing actions are done, the stages in the mind and most importantly the concepts which they are based on, and therefore they can not be fully conveyed to the viewers. For this purpose, within the scope of Elective-2 course which is one of the 6th semester courses of Interior Design and Environmental Design Department in Selçuk University Fine Arts Faculty, in other design departments except Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Department (Graphic, Industrial Product Design, Traditional Turkish Arts, Painting), a study examining design process approaches and their creativity and learning style was conducted with third year undergraduate students during 2015-2016 Education period.
