Abstract

This study intends to review online reservation quality perception and perceived risk factors in tourism sector. This study has been performed on consumers (n:359) made online reservation in tourism sector. Data from Participants has been collected by means of “Website Quality Perception” scale developed by Ayazlar and Yüksel (2012). This scale consists of 7 sub-class; these are “Availability of Information”, “Interaction Security”, “Visuality”, “Perceived Risk”, “Purchase Regret”, “Purchase Anxiety” and “Revisit”. Cronbach Alpha Value of 5 point likert scale is 0,823. From the results of this study, it is seen that there is a significant statistical difference (p=0,042) with respect to Visuality scale point between girls and boys and Visuality scale point of boys has been determined as lower than girls’ one. Significant statistical difference (p<0,001) has been detected with respect to Purchase Regret scale point between girls and boys. Purchase Regret scale point of Boys is higher than girls’ ones. In addition to this, Significant statistical difference (p<0,001) has been detected with respect to Availability of Information scale point between study groups. High-school graduates has lower Availability of Information scale point.
