In this study, it is aimed to determine the current situation of Kayaköy in the destination of Fethiye within the scope of national and international cultural heritage in terms of tourists, additionally it is aimed to make proposals forth epreservation and development of kayaköy's cultural heritage. In recent years, tourists are turning to touristic product requests that are different from those of sea, sand and sun tourism.In this study, the definition of cultural heritage in general, the importance of preservation and cultural heritage and the historical process and characteristics of Kayaköy will be emphasized.
