Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the destination satisfaction perceived by visitors coming to Bursa/Turkey. For this study, a sample of 200 visitors from different touristic locations in Bursa province was surveyed. The results of the study were tested using the SPSS 21 program. In the study, descriptive statistics, reliability and validity analysis, factor analysis, and t-test were performed. Results show that the common perception is favourable for the destination, on the other hand, the visitors are not satisfied of infrastructure, mobility of night life, and lack of package tours. This study provides implications for the destination management organization and useful guidelines to practitioners in terms of managing tourism development. The current study was the first empirical research in investigating destination satisfaction from Bursa province, so, this provides further contribution to tourism and hospitality management literature as well.
