In the-se surveys, the relationship between music categories (mellow, unpretentious, sophisticated/complex, intense and contemporary/ritmic-energetic) and music-induced emotions have not been adequately investigated, especially for intro-verts and extroverts, depending on their mood. In this study, 517 (66.2%) of the participants were female, and 264 (33.8%) were male; the mean age was 20.91 (S = 2.84, ranj = 17-35). Then, 184 (51.7%) introverts and 172 (48.3%) extraverts (n = 356) were identified from these clusters. According to basic findings, women preferred pop music more than men; it was seen that men's arabesque and rap music preferences were higher. After listening to music, women got into a more positive mood than men; while the feeling of happi-ness felt before listening to music increased, the frequency of listening to mu-sic decreased. It has been determined that extroverts preferred a contempo-rary/energetic music more than introverts. On the other hand, it was found that introverts’ tension scores after listening to music were higher than extroverts.
