Abstract

Medical practice is all of the activities that are done to protect and restore health. In a shorter way, it may be called "healing art or medical art". In this context, since medical and medicine expressions are intertwined or interconnected, it is better to handle the subject from a medical point of view. Ethics, which is known as professional ethics in daily life, is a philosophical dimension of morality and is closely related to many professions. Ethics is also a very important issue for medical science, which is one of the important professions for humanity. Thus, this issue is universal and related to human rights. The most important need of people is health. There is no one who does not need the doctor and other health professionals. Health care workers become familiar with the most intimate information of people during the treatment process. However, those who have personal information cannot share or give it to any person except in cases where the law requires them and in accordance with the legal obligation. For example, according to the Turkish Criminal Law (Articles 134, 136), it is forbidden that physicians share intimate information about their patients.
