Abstract

Utopias are born from the desire of people to live in a better and fairer order. In Plato State, Thomas More Utopia, Campanella Solar Country and Bacon New Atlantis, they found the contradictory aspects of the communities they lived in and designed ideal societies. Due to social, political and economic changes in society during the nineteenth century, utopians have turned into counter-utopia with an oppositional discourse. Throughout history, a person who feels secure and can live in a happy and fair environment, has never lost hope to transcend self-limiting walls, even in times of despair. Utopia, which depicts a perfect society or an ideal state, finds meaning as an imaginary society in which the deepest wishes of mankind, the most noble dreams and the highest aspirations are fulfilled. II. The dystopian remarks emerged as a critique of the changes brought about by the world war, the resultant utopia of the totalitarian regimes.
