Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the spiritual intelligence features of Education Faculty students in terms of gender, grade level, their educational departments, their residential areas and academic successes. The research is a quantitative study conducted in the descriptive scanning model. This study was performed with the data obtained from 721 preservice teachers consisting of 467 females and 254 males selected by the objective assignment among the students of the education faculty during the 2014-2015 academic year. In the analysis of the data, the independent t-test, single factoral ANOVA and Pearson moments multiplication correlation coefficient were used. As a result of this study, it was concluded that the spiritual intelligence features of the students do not differ according to the variables of gender, grade level, and their residential areas, but they differ in terms of the department and academic success.
