In order to gather data, opinions survey related to Public Personnel Selection Examination (PPSE), which is developed by Gundogdu and Ark.(2008), has been used. Population of the research is constituted by 363 teacher candidates who are senior students studying at Mugla Sıtkı Kocman University Education Faculty (German Teaching, Science Teaching, English Teaching, Music Teaching, Preschool Teaching, Psychological Counseling and Guidance, Art Teaching, Primary School Teaching, Social Sciences Teaching, Turkish Teaching).Collected datas were analyzed through the package program, SPSS for Windows by the methods of frequency distribution, percentage, T-Test, one way analysis of variance. Findings of the research;Views related to Public Personnel Selection Examination shows meaningful difference with regards to studied department and age variables,there is no meaningful difference between variables about gender, parent’s level of education and grade point average. Without making variable discrimination; another finding of the research is that Public Personnel Selection Examination affects the future teacher candidates, causes anxiety and stress. According to research findings, following recommendations underlined: Coping strategies with anxiety should be taught at the schools of educational in the universities, and a requisition should be presented to the Ministry of National Education focusing on the inequality of interdisciplinary teacher appointments.},author={Deniz Ayşegül SÖĞÜT-- Mehmet ABİR},year={2017},journal={The Journal of Academic Social Science}}
